i love this movie. i watched it a lot in college, and now i am glad to have it on blu ray.

If you like Shawn of the Dead you'll love Army of Darkness. It's a hilarious tounge-in-cheek horror movie that makes fun of the horror movie genre. The DVD doesn't have any cool DVD extras really but it's worth owning anyway. "Give me some sugar baby!"

Sam Rami directed 3 Evil Dead movies. Each film progressively evolved from low-budget horror to moderate budget comedy. This is the final and most campy of the three. Blu ray quality is fine.

this is the typical movie you would watch when you just want to see something that is fun and you don't want to spend any energy trying to figure out the plot. it ranks with the likes of big trouble in chinatown

Like evil dead it's just awesome. Evil dead movies are what others should aspire to reach.

Ash rocks again. This movie is great and very funny. Get all the eveil deads. Heck get it in HD DVD if you have an HD DVD player as the transfer looks better than this version. The movie is very affordable and a must have.

I have seen this movie on both vhs & dvd and it was even better on blu ray! It looked amazing and was a great addition to blu ray.

Classic 80's movie to watch on a weekend Boomstick!

This is a really funny movie...this is also a not-so-great dvd. The now out-of print 'Boomstick Edition' is by far the best version and that is the one fans will want to own. This disc will suffice only in the event that you cannot get a 'Boomstick'.

I think that the Evil Dead is one of the greatest horror films of all-time. Even though I have mixed feeling about the Evil Dead 2, I was really looking forward to Army of Darkness. What a disappointment it turned out to be: bad plot, bad acting, and the picture / audio quality on this Blu-ray release is a lot lower than that on the first two films in the trilogy (not to mention that there are no way near as many special features on this release as compared to the first two films).
