Action packed! The battle scenes r not 4 the faint-hearted.

I just finished watching this on Netflix. It was as someone said before surprisingly a very good movie. Very good story line and acting. It did get a little confusing at first with the different languages that are in it, but once you figure that out it works out really well. If you like movies set in this setting, then this movie is one to see. I just ordered it from here to be shipped to me, it's worth watching more than once.

Arn the Knight Templar was a pleasant surprise. The acting is in top form, as is the writing. Michael Nyqvist (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Stellan Skarsgård (Ronin, King Arthur) lend their amazing supporting talent to solidify an epic and dramatic storyline. The love story is heart-wrenching and it gracefully manages not to kill the film's momentum. Vividly believable, this is a must-see film.

Not knowing what to expect from this offering, I was most pleasantly surprised by it. It told a magnificent tale full of love and fidelity, honor and integrity, religious and political manipulation, and betrayal. The only negative issue (to some) is the necessary reliance on subtitling. For me, this was essential as my proficiency in Scandinavian or Arabic dialects is nonexistent. Perhaps longer, more inclusive alternatives to this presentation are available. This in no way diminishes the quality of this film.

After I finally realized that the dialog is in multiple languages, I actually enjoyed the movie. It has a good story line and the cinementography was very good.
