Within couple of months, the button to operate lid wont work.

I really liked the idea of this kettle heating water for tea, hot cocoa and pour over coffee. However, it only lasted about 4 months because the push button lid got stuck and it would not open. It was replaced by Aroma then it happened again 4 months later. So my recommendation to all readers it to get a kettle with a manually removable lid. Just lift the lid off, fill the kettle, put it back on and boil the water and it is ready within 2-3 mins. depending on the amount of water you are placing in the kettle.

I am very disappointed in this electric kettle. I purchased it to replace an older version of the Aroma electric kettle that gave us good use for over 10 years. I have had this one longer than the time I could return it, so I am stuck with it. The lid on the top broke and won't stay shut. It is just my husband and myself and we are not hard on appliances. I think this pot is obviously being made very cheaply and just doesn't hold up.

Not even 2 months of use the lid already stopped working. Definitely Not a worth of $40. Last kettle I bought lasted 3 years. I wish I kept the box. Super dissatisfied

LEAKY BOTTOM AS IT WAS CARELESSLY CONSTRUCTED. A VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT.

I have just placed my 3rd order of this same electric kettle. First one I bought, last year to use at my office. Second one for my home, bought few days, but my husband has taken it for use at his workplace. So, I have just ordered 3rd one, for my home.
