Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the structure, and will take what I can get from Arrested Development, but it wasn't as funny as it used to be. Plus, too much emphasis on Tobias. Still, it's good to have the Bluths back.

The magic has gone from Arrested Development. Whatever mojo they had going when they were on Fox has long since left before they limped over to Netflix. Their choice to do interlocking stories from multiple viewpoints was not their best idea. And the writing is just not funny. In fact, it's so not funny as to be painful--like the dorm room election in the first episode. If Jason Bateman said "P-Hound" one more time, I was going to lose my mind. The show has great actors, and it's a show I used to like. But this is one TV show revival that should have been avoided.

Worth buying if you're a die hard fan of Arrested Development, but you can tell the actors have aged (a couple not so well). The different story lines intertwined together are themselves interesting.
