This unit required assistance from Comcast in order to get it up and running for our voice modem. Other than that it is now working great.

Took a while for Xfinity to get the MAC address registered so I can returned their Xfinity Modem. This Arris Surfboard modem works now, and saves me money from Xfinity. It will pretty much pays for itself in a year. Still need to call Xfinity to activate my phone line, but I haven't used the landline in over 2 years so it's an option since I paid for the triple play.

Worth the upgrade from the Netgear CM500V. It noticeably improved performance. We have a number of devices and users on the network particularly now with video conferencing and working at home.
Why pay to rent one when you can own it.

Bought this to eliminate being charged a monthly fee by Xfinity. It serves the purpose and makes great sense as a one-time purchase instead of an ongoing charge.

Rental Replacement

Picked this up to replace my rental modem, and hadn't been aware the lease cost had gone up to around $14 monthly. At the $99 sales price, the one time fixed cost easily pays for itself in less than a year.
Moreover, cost effective enough to be treated as a disposable unit when pricing becomes more competitive for the newer DOCSIS 3.1 modem solutions.

As installation, I found out that Spectrum cable doesn't support this modem for cable phone services. Therefore, has to returned the item back to Best Buy. Just wish that Spectrum phone services did support it...if they did, no more $$$ for them.

Got this to replace my older cable modem and this one gives me the speeds I’m paying for (600 Mbps) with Xfinity. Also like how it also has the voice connection.

I ordered this as it was compatible with Xfinity internet and voice. I’ve had it for more than a week, and so far I am very satisfied. It works well paired with my Netgear wireless router to deliver very fast Internet. Price was reasonable compared to other similar products.

This cable modem works great, however expect a hassle from Comcast to get it hooked up. Don't return your rental modem until this is online and fully functioning.

Just what we needed to replace my rented Comcast/Xfinity modem. Works fine. Took a few phone calls to Xfinity to get it activated but it was well worth it. This model supports teleports if you are paying for a home phone line. Please note that this is a modem. We already have our own router. We cannot locate a reset button. Hopefully it continues to work well and there will never be a need to unplug and plug it back in.

Great price and value for the money. I think the product is probably really good, but unfortunately I had to return it because our cable company won't play nicely with others. Thanks Mediacom.

Good fast modem, have not hooked up a home phone to it yet but the internet connection has been on all the time and not like my previous modem that would drop the connection every so often for no reason.

Very rare to find a modem that still has built in voice for landline home phone. Does not have wifi, you need to purchase a wireless router if you want wifi but you are better off using your own hardware than renting your ISP hardware that is expensive and has limited performance. This is compatible with Comcast/xfinity but be sure to check! To hook up a landline, you need to reverse the two wires (usually red and green in older homes) that plug into this unit using an RJ11 connector.
