I bought this modem to take advantage of the higher internet speeds in my area. The modem provides consistent higher download speeds. The modem is very easy to setup and register with my internet provider.

Bought the modem to save on the cable company rental fee. No problems yet, fingers crossed.

Got this so that I wouldn't have to rent from TWC here in NC. I've heard mixed reviews on the modems that they give out for the leases. Bought online with a pick up in store option and had it up and running within an hour of getting home. Most of the time was spent online with TWC support getting the modem configured and allowed on their network. I've only had it for a month, but it's been rock-solid stable. I'm in the Extreme plan and I am getting the advertised speed with this modem (30/5).

This is a great purchase for the money. Very fast internet and streaming. Great for streaming live as well.

This Modem works just fine. It also is nice that I'm not renting from the cable co. anymore.

i bought this model per Comcast advice on the compatibility with xfinity. No problem at all.

I am not getting anything more out of this than I did my surfboard but it died. Seems good.

Had internet reception problem - new ISP, new modem, old router. Did not know source of problem. Arris put a large notice to call them when anything goes wrong. Fast phone answer, technician walked me through steps to dx the source. He waited patiently while I retrieved the Ethernet cord and booted up. He proved to me the problem was the ISP and taught me how to check of the problem in the future. ISP tech came and agree it was their problem and made repairs to their connections. Two year warranty on electronic device is outstanding. Never knew this brand before, but glad I found them. PS their device was the best priced by 70% on most brands to do the same cable modem. PPS - If something can go wrong in electronics, I can find it and I am very vocal in my criticism to businesses and not bashful with friends opinions.

I replaced my Comcast provided modem with this and have been satisfied with its performance.

Modem works great. Just plug it in and connect it.

I have had SURFboard modems for years. They always work great and last for years (until lightening gets them). This was easy to set up, 8x faster than my previous model, and as always a great Best Buy price.

I needed to upgrade to a DOCIS 3.0 cable modem. I had a NetGear that died on me after a short period of time, so I was hesitant to get another. I read the reviews and compared NetGear and others to the Motorola. Tough to tell with reviews but for the specs and price it was a perfect deal. Took less than 10 minutes to setup - including the time on the phone with my cable company. I'd recommend to a friend.

This equipment was easy to set-up and walked through each step with you. Was compatible with my Xfinity provider and was up and running within minutes.

It's better than the modem from Cox. It has improve the internet speed and connectivity.

Nice to move up to Docsis 3.0 in hopes of cutting cable cord or just streaming movies at home. Does not show appreciably faster download speeds but maybe this doesn't show up until streaming movies. The white case and blinking lights fill the office like a disco light. Prefer the old black case and lights that don't flash like Willy Wonka's Factory. Optional black case would be nice. OR maybe I can paint it black.

Easy to install modem that works perfectly with my internet provider and my wireless router. Store only had it isn White (don't know if it comes in other colors) and it stands out against other equipment..
