I bought this item to replace my Time Warner Cable Modem. At first we where having problems, but that was before it was explained to me that this is dual band and works off of two frequencies. Needless to say it works very well and I love the dual frequencies option as we can use even more devices. Currently, there are about 8 devices in the household older devices are used on the 2.5 frequency and 5 for newer devices.

It's fast and dependable and being it's a 2 and 1 it doesn't take up alot of space.

Bought this to replace a modem that was failing. Hooked it up and set up was easy. Did a speed test and it was over twice as fast as the one it replaced!

This was my first time getting my own modem rather than renting from Comcast - this fits the bill and saves $$ in the long run. Price is very reasonable and the modem itself is much smaller than the one provided by the cable company. Works very well but due to the lights it may not be the best in a room to be kept dark - there may be a way to turn it down but I have not looked at that.

Works as great as my internet speed will allow it. Come on Google Fiber!!! Small and inconspicuous. Would be really great if the lights on the front were a bit dimmer.

Very small design is mid-leading, the dual modem/router is one of the fastest I've used. As the internet speeds in my area only reach 75MBPS, this modem/router can easily handle all of it. Perfectly steam HD quality with no lag or pixelation. I have a 3,000 square foot home and this is set up on the main level in the corner of the home and it still puts a good signal out throughout my home.

Am having trouble with disconnects from my old Rokus, but they probably need to be upgraded.

Good value for money. Supports 5G out of the box. no need for a separate router.

So far I am pleased with the performance of this router/modem. Decided to purchase this item to avoid the $9.99 monthly rental fee that Cox Communications was going to charge me to rent their modem. This Arris Surfboard router/modem is faster than Cox's router/modem.

product was easy to set up with the directions included. Product has a excellent look to it. Light indicators are easy to understand. Product works as advertised.

This works very good. It has multiple options. It seems cool that you seek inside of it. It connects to multiple devices. It has a long range for connecting devices. It is easy to operate and plug into the outlet. It does get warm after being on for a while.

Had no problems with system faster internet works great, got for a good price had to do little work getting system set u p everything works right

I bought this to use with a new Xfinity account. The Xfinity rep walked me through the installation and it seemed pretty straightforward and simple. My wired speed is around 200 MBPS and wireless in the same room as the modem is around 55-60 MBPS (I'm not sure if it is standard for routers to send a slower wireless signal). I have the modem in my basement because that is where my office, media room and Xbox are located. The signal is strong up to the first floor, but much weaker on the second floor. When on the second floor on the opposite side of the house from the modem, the signal degrades enough that my phone bounces back and forth between cellular data and WiFi. I may move the modem to the first floor in the future to see if that improves the second floor signal without negatively affecting the devices located in my basement.

I was using a time warner modem/router and this new one that I just purchased blows it out of the water. It's great!

I bought this to eliminate the need for having a seperate router & modem. The router is decent as far as internet speed, but had higher expectations on the range. My 5 year old Belkin router I think actually had better range signal through out my house. I've tried changing the channel a few times, but still hasn't gotten better.

This modem is perfect! I love it! It's small so it hides well. It's in my living room hiding behind a picture frame. And even if it shows, it's easy on the eyes.

I needed a better, faster router than the one Comcast "gives" you and this is it! It does everything I need better and faster with virtually no interruption.

I definitely recommend this modem for people who are looking for something that performs well without spending a fortune. It's super easy to setup. You literally just plug in the power and coaxial cables and call your cable company to activate and boom it's up and running. The only real "con" I'd give is that it only has 2 ports. Other than that I'd say it's well worth the money

This surfboard provides more than enough power to use a computer, laptop and phone at the same time. It's also affordable, didn't break the bank
