I bought this Router/Modem after my older Arris N300 was destroyed an inattentive maintenance crew, that one performed admirably for the four years that I had it. Upgrading to the AC1600 was entirely worth it! With a 30mbps signal I now receive approximately 31.8mbps when wired in and about 33.4 when on wifi. The signal is very stable and these router/modems are easy to set up and move with. They are simple, hassle free and deliver excellent performance! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants good stability and capability whether for gaming or otherwise.

Easy to set up and has crazy fast speed on the 5.0. May need to check the channels on the 2.5 setting to get a channel with the least interference of neighbors, but once you get a lesser used channel the connection is super. Great buy and worth the money.

Went in with no knowledge of what I wanted to buy and the assistant helped me with this purchase and it fits all of my needs. Usually have 4 devices on it including my ps4 and I have yet to have an issue with it. Great for the money highly recommend

I was on the hunt for a modem after signing up with Comcast. I refused to spend an extra $10 a month just to use equipment that is bulky and overrated. First went with Netgear cause it was cheaper, but returned it shortly after once reading reviews on Motorolla Arris. It was an easy install and has had great connection 24/7. I had one minor hiccup on choosing which channel/connection to use but their customer service was fantastic and walked me through set up options that you have when you log into your device portal online. Since then, connectivity had been fantastic and I have zero complaints. I also like that it is small and compact and not an eye sore in the living room.

My wife and I love this duo modem/router! We figured it would be cheaper to just buy a quality device than rent an older unit from our internet provider. I am glad we did! This Surfboard lives up to its reputation and has no trouble handling 4 PCs, 1 TV, 2 iPhones, and an iPad at the same time. Even better, we live in a three story condo, and I've never noticed any lag between floors. I still get full signal strength even at the top of the unit. I'd definitely buy this again.

Got this to replace modem/router supplied by TWC as I was experiencing slow speeds and significant drop-outs. Went to BB to get a different make/mode. Told the salesperson what I was looking for; he suggested this one. I have not had any disconnects from Internet and speeds on the 5mhz band have been outstanding. Here's the only issue; the blue LED's really, really show though the white plastic to the point of really brightening up the bedroom where the unit is. It's a "nice" blue and all, but it should not be like a beacon. Other than that, great equipment.

I have had zero issues w/ this modem. I have a smart tv, xbox one, laptop, phone and ROKU all wireless on it and it does the work. Works in my 1 bedroom 700 sq ft apt very well and not even centered in the apt.

I wanted a time warner cable modem/router so I wouldn't have to rent one from them. This was the perfect one. It's speed is as fast as I need it to be. Easy setup as well.

This wireless gateway works great threw out my whole house I even pick it up in my driveway! Basement to the second floor every device picks up wifi with ease. I love the small size and blue lights too!! Worth every penny

Speed is almost what I promised from spectrum. Set up isn’t hard at all . I don’t mind the two Ethernet connects . One extra benefit is my iMac started to work with iCloud Drive sync perfectly. It didn’t work before. The amount of options this router gives me is impressive. It’s fiselh straightforward to use and is works well . I don’t have any real issues with this and I recommended this to a family member and I’ll recommend it to everyone.

It works great and the price was good. The only thing is that it only has two Ethernet ports but it gives good signal.

Modem/router exceeded my expectations. Easy set-up, less than 5 minutes. We have had no problems. We stream video/ tv on 4 tvs, 3 tablets, laptops and iPhones. Most definitely would recommend and would purchase again

The modem is compatible with my cable system, and preforms just as well. Good buy will pay for itself in a year.

This was what I needed. Didn't want to rent equipment from Comcast. It was easy, inexpensive and worries great.

Easy to set up & use. I noticed an improvement in the speed, signal strength, & range in my home network.

I selected this on because it was on sale and would allow speeds of 300 mbs. It hooked up easily, I called the cable company and they made the final connections. It works like a charm.

Every router modem combo I’ve purchased would result in either utter disappointment or surprise and gratification. This model, however, is kinda mediocre. Some days, it works with ease, others it’s dead, with no response for 8+ hours and needs an intervention. Even updates take 6+ hours plus to complete. It does feel like it’s more consistent with time. Maybe it was a break-in period, but yeah. That’s my experience with this product.

Really liking the speed and the fact it does the job of two. The size is compact and that to me is very important.

This was a great product for the price. Really great! I was several times faster than the year old Mac AirPort it replaced. I haven't had to reset it since I got it either. Highly recommended!

If you want to save money on your high speed internet by not having to rent the modem then I would suggest purchasing the modem yourself and saving the money. I paid $130 for this wifi enabled modem so it will only take 13 months to break even versus what I would pay comcast to rent their modem and it works just fine! Easy to setup, has both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands so works for whatever you may want to use it with.
