Having used the cable company box for my modem and router I had become discussed by its increasing slowness and inefficiency. Thus was the reason for my purchase of the ARRIS modem router and am very happy with how it has quicker up the lag time which I was experiencing with the Comcast modem.

I chose this to replace the modem I was renting from Cox. It has been fantastic and I really enjoyed the guest network.

Although this is a fine router, the store clerk gave me this device. I asked for a router/modem a 2 in 1 machine, but this wasn't the correct one. I am an older adult and thought I had explained my needs, I'm really not sure. I repeat again, this is a fine product, but watch what you are asking for.

I bought this Comcast modem/router to replace my 5 year old modem and wireless router. I thought, hmmm, I'd get one that can support up to 100 Mb/s to match my Comcast internet service. Well...since I bought this modem/router, I've been having nothing but intermittent internet connection with Comcast. Apparently, this modem/router is trying to pull a lot of data from Comcast. The intermittent internet connection is being caused by an issue on the feed lines from Comcast outside my house. This was not a problem before because my old modem was a slow one. I guess I'm glad that I bought this modem/router since I found out I'm not getting the Comcast service that I'm paying for. But I'm also annoyed at the fact that I'm getting intermittent internet connection. I've called Comcast and they are now going to fix the line outside of my house. -Mixed feelings

Works great with several computers tv etc. best of all it’s mine and don’t pay fees for one

Not a bad machine, wish it was a little faster. There should be a (SURE) button for would you recommend to a friend.

Easy to install but I bought the wrong model based on advise from the salesperson. The result is I don't get the optimum speed that matches the service I pay for through my internet carrier (TW) It's sufficient but not great. Not the fault of ARRIS.

I purchased this because it would simply pay for itself after months of "renting" one from my internet provider. I didn't know much about routers but I read reviews of various products and talked with the people who work at bestbuy and this one seemed to be the best to go with. I have no trouble getting a good signal(I live in a apartment though). As well as no issues having multiple devices connected at once (TV, computer, and various phones, Etc)

Awesome product, no problems and easy setup. Great range over my whole house highly recommend over netgear.

This is a great modem to go for if you're looking to cut the rental fees that your I ISP is charging you every month! I'm using it with Comcast and all I had to do was call them to get it activated

Works perfectly. Reasonable price. Helps to save on the rent of a modem with xfinity.

Ditched the rental of the modem from the cable company and purchased this small device. Great range, even through two (2) walls, to reach our home office devices on the opposite end of the home.

No speed increased on Wi-Fi been having troubles with slow and lagging Wi-Fi this was recommended to me my old one when I was running at 50 meg wife I was hitting 45 to 50 upgraded 100 meg Wi-Fi now runs 15 to 20 after purchasing this Internet provider tells me that I need a better router

This is a good modem, easily configured and easily managed. The built in wireless is just that, built in wireless, the range is pretty poor even on the 2.4hz channel. But it gets the job done with decent speeds. I would recommend this unit for smaller apartments or small office environments.

Overall does what is intended, but I thought the signal strength would have been stronger for what I paid for it.

Nice integrated Wi-Fi with cable modem. Very simple set-up, dual band Wi-Fi with routing for higher band devices automatically connects higher band-width devices to the 5.2 GHz side.

Super easy to connect. Has great signal strength, even works through my concrete walls in my apartment.

Didn't want to pay a monthly rental fee to my cable company. The customer service rep recommended this product and although it was a little more than I wanted to spend I'm glad I listened to him. Signal is strong throughout my house. No issues connecting multiple devices.
