I run a business from home and don't need a lot of distance from router to computer, but I do need speed. I don't do gaming but I have Apple TV and cable internet. This router was suggested by the Best Buy salespeople as the best buy for the price and they were right. The speed I get is much faster than what I would have gotten with the stock router from the cable company. Cable company routers don't give you the full speed that you pay for, which I didn't know until I spoke to the Best Buy experts! Thanks!

I bought this instead of using the xfinity gateway. Cheaper, stronger and faster thats what I was told. Well ... It was all true!

This is an extremely user friendly product. The hardest part of the installation was dealing with my ISP (Charter Communications). Once I was able to get the modem associated with my account, it has worked great. I have noticed the 2.4gHz bandwidth is sometimes not recognized as a wireless access point but have not had problems with the 5gHz band.

Easy to set up. Good coverage in a 2 - story 2400 sq ft home.

Purchased for our home. We were overdue to to replace our cable co issued equipment and our (trusted) IT guy recommended this. He told me exactly what to get. It's what he has in his home and recommends. This unit is slim and upright. Our IT guy did have to connect from our home but we remote to our business so there was configuring involved that I was not going to tackle by myself whereas others I"m sure would be much more comfortable. Very pleased.

Easy setup and installation. All my devices were easily linked to the WIFI. I am very happy with the speed.

Works properly, it was easy to install. I been having it for about 3months and haven’t had any issues.

It took no time to set up and it seems reliable. Bonus is that we don't have to pay Time Warner rental for a modem.

It was easy to set up and use. Great product and WIFI is working good. Glad to not to be paying extra money every month to comcast. But I did not think about home phone. This product does not support home phone line. So if you need home phone line you have to get product that supports that.

This router out performs my old router easily. Easy to connect myself with no issues. Replaces my rental fee of having to rent from my internet provider for their router & pays for itself in the long term. Price was not steep either. Very affordable & does exactly what I need it to do.

After paying Xfinity $10 a month for a router/modem that worked below average in my home, I now lowered my bill and what's funny is how much faster it is in different parts of my home that was horrible on a $10 a month gateway router. It took 4 minutes to activate and hasn't had any issues that I had before. I was about to cancel my internet provider until this router came into my life. Best decision since I married my wife.

I was a cable guy many years ago. I understand broadband technology and my overdue needs for a docsis 3 modem. It took two minutes to install including the firmware update. I purchased it to keep myself from having 10.00 a month modem rental fees. The WiFi is awesome. For 100.00 it’s a ridiculous deal and streaming works perfectly. Or if you’re unsure then ask the kids in those stores and buy ones that cost 3x as much.

THIS UNIT WORKS VERY FAST. I NOTICED AN IMPROVEMENT ON OUR INTERNET AND MY XBOX SIGNAL IS ALWAYS STRONG.

This wifi router is more on the cheap side of routers, however it does occasionally drop connection. If you plan on online gaming I would get a step up from this router. Its good for streaming Youtube , Netflix and other streaming sites but don’t expect lightning speeds.

I've now had this at my house for a year and have had no problems at all. Everything has run smoothly with my whole house internet. Signal can reach every room in my house with good strength. I would buy it again, good product for the price.

Works great and is so easy for novices. Has pretty good speed for most internet service providers
