I bought this modem router for my home a year ago and loved it so much I bought one for my gf's house after hers stopped working. The range is much better than our previous ones with the dual band networks

Increased my WIFI coverage in my house. Great product.

Had to replace this device when the prior one, (Motorola), failed. Appears only the name has changed to Arris. The device looks exactly the same, and in the same box. I did notice that the range of the signal was a little less, so I had to purchase a $45 plug in range extender to make the signal reach all my wifi devices. Actually, with the new range extender, I now have better signal than ever. That's why I gave the four stars instead of the full five stars to the Arris modem/router. Other than the slight decrease in signal from the previous device, the Arris is doing a fine job connecting up my cable supplied internet system.

Love this dual wireless reciever. T h e speed is fast and the signal is strong goes from one corner of our house to the other through multiple walls. Unless you live in a mansion you will get a good signal.

The Wifi connection is strong and stays connected even with many devices logged on. The range is very good although I am also using and Apple Airport to extend the wifi service to other parts of my home.

This surfboard has everything needed and then some.. It has performed just as it should with no issues at all. I have not lost connection once in two months..

Ready to straight pull out of the box and go to work

I replaced a sbc6700ac router/modem with a sbc6900ac router/modem and what a difference, well worth the $50.00 difference in price. setup was easy and the modem synced with Comcast services easily.

I purchased this item because my old modem had only one ethernet plug. Now I have four, and the speed is faster than the unit I replaced. I am pleased with the performance and features of of my purchase.

After going round and round with our cable internet provider, we decided to take their advice and get a new router / modem. This unit worked well for 4 months. Then we started getting dropped service. The cable company came out and replaced all the cable to the PED, to the house and to our office. We found we were still getting dropped service. I called ARRIS for Tech support. They determined that the router / modem wasn't broadcasting the signal (wifi). I took it back to BestBuy with the extended 2 year warranty (I purchased separately). They happily exchanged it for a new unit!

Fast. Work well. Intially the wrong setup code was programmed in the router at the factory. I had to call support. It took awhile to resolve but works great now

I have Cable One supplied internet. They supply bad/old/outdated/underperforming Cable-modems. I tried everything to be satisfied with streaming etc. A Best Buy associate explained that there are several decent models however Cable One, the underperforming underspent supplier they are, recommended a model that they are more easily able to work with remotely for set up. I plugged in, booted, called the worse cable company in many cities I have lived in, they Activated and am now able to connect at least 5 devices and Stream TV without any problem at all. As with all cable-modems you should, as I did, get the extended service plan as these type of devices sometimes fail.

Great product easy to install and change settings. I was able to change the settings for my server to be up and ready to play the game as well. Highly recommended and very easy to install.

As a result of the Arris Surfboard reviews and the help of the Best Buy sales associate, I purchased the SBG6900-AC. It was easy to set-up and works well with my new Xfinity 250 Mbps internet service.

I'm sure the router would have worked great. But, our internet service is through Frontier. Frontier refuses to allow you to use anyone's router but their own. Sadly we had to return the ARRIS.

This modem/router combo is super fast and can handle multiple devices in the same home as easy as one device. I had problems with the cheap rental from my cable company and this is the cure.

I am 80 years old and lived by myself. All the sales persons directed me the correct persons who walk and explain all the steps to install the cable modem and I did it all in one step. Thank you

I was being charged $10+ per month for renting from the cable company. This upgraded unit will pay for itself over time, while providing better internet delivery than the rental unit. Win - win.

Xfinity tech support tried repeatedly to get my wifi to work throughout our 3 story townhouse . Now it does! Yeah! And I save over $10/month on my cable . Deal!

I didn't want to rely on the local cable provider for my modem/router and the SURFboard has it all. It is powerful and reliable. Absolutely no issues. I highly recommend this product!
