Purchased this product a few months ago & so far it is working greatl. I was told I needed to upgrade my modem to enable me to get faster internet speed. My computer is 5 years old & it was not working well. It was slow & freezing up. Since purchasing this modem, my computer is working great & my internet speed is much improved. I have no complaints & am very satisfied. It was a good buy for the money.

This modem was easy to install and has worked flawlessly for a 16 MB/sec internet and TV connection. Ease of installation exceeded my expectations.

Opened the box up, plugged it in, registered with online services, and worked right away. No issues two months into it; works great with our high speed internet. I would recommend this product!

I was paying Time Warner 8.00 month to lease their modem. Installed this modem in four minutes and internet is faster and boy what a savings.

The Motorola SURFboard seriously outperforms the modems from Comcast. I noticed a measurable difference immediately after installation. Connected to my 150 mbps router, even my wifi ran much faster and without any connection drops like I would get with my rental modem. Considering that it winds up paying for itself in a few months, saving the ever-increasing rental fees from Comcast (they've increased the rental fees twice just since I bought this modem), this purchase is a no-brainer. Further, it eliminates the cable company's use of my bandwidth, electricity, etc. for their own use by not having their "wifi" modem with a second antenna operating 24/7 on my dime.

This modem works great. Have not had to reboot it since I bought it. We have a weak cable signal and this baby motors through like a champ.

I was able to get this modem set up within about 15 minutes, and couldn't be happier with the results it gives me. Great that I own it, instead of having to pay for a rental fee.

This modem is very easy to install and it works well, just like my previous Motorola modem did. This one is much faster, so even my old computer is able to load pages more quickly.

Lost my other one in a storm and new how good it was. Price is good for the value. Works well with my router and is twc compatible.

This is your standard modem that you can use to connect your router - excellent speed, high build quality and good price. You can't go wrong as a typical household internet user.

I replaced my TWC modem with this Motorola/Arris surfboard modem. It was simple to hookup and took one phone call to get it authorized on the TWC network. Its performed much better than the one TWC was "renting" to me.

This is an excellent high speed modem for household use with Comcast. Works better than any other modem we've had (and we've had a few). Have not had any problems with it.

Was easy to install. Provides excellent speed with my new computer (also from Best Buy) running windows 10. Will pay for itself in 7 months. $10 less to Comcast. Yippee.

I bought this modem because I read all the positive reviews. I upgraded from a docsys 2 to this modem (docsys 3) since comcast upped the speeds in my neighborhood free of charge. Easy to install (just like any modem). Connection has been solid for the last 5 weeks without one need of a reboot or reset. Definelty recommend. Two thumbs up!!

This modem works very well -- I had tried replacing my rented cable modem previously with a NetGear CG3000D from Amazon, but that was too good to be true and I had to reboot around once a day because it was not releasing connections or had some other issue. This model almost never has that issue and supports our data-hungry family paired with a WiFi router (not uncommon to have streaming to the TV and 2 phones a laptop and sometimes a tablet all connecting at once). Setup was very simple, just calling the cable company with the Mac address. Very happy stop paying the monthly modem rental on my cable bill!

Great modem. Good price with easy setup. Purchased as a replacement for cable company rented modem. Runs great and Is fast.

Setup was easy - plugged it in and it has worked flawlessly since. Personally, just what I want our of my internet modem - just work without issues - and this one does.

I purchased this modem for my mother to replace her Motorola DOCSIS 2.0 and so far it has worked like a charm (it's only been two weeks). However, the only issue at the time was getting it activated properly though my cable provider (Cox). They kept saying it was getting the signal however I could not access the internet. I informed them that they had a bad node in my area and that the modem kept defaulting to the bad node. After about an 45 minutes of them resending/resetting the signal and turning on/off the modem, then the modem finally failed over to another node and it has worked like a charm ever since. It seems like surfing the internet is faster than before even though she has the lowest internet service.

I bought to replace my rented modem. Inexpensive and easy to use. Definitely worth paying now and not renting from TWC!

Good modem works with speeds currently offered in my area. Much cheaper than 10 a month for their modem. Would be 5 stars if was a wireless route in one.
