This modem is easy to setup. You just plug it in, enter your password, and go! It's very fast too. It works great for my Amazon Firestick.

I was able to use this and get rid of my modem- router from my cable company and save some money. This product paid for itself in a matter of months and powers my hole home network. I'm certain that I've made the right decision for my home network. Thanks to the guys at Best Buy for recommending this product.

I've never set up a modem before and this one was super easy for a beginner like me. Seems pretty fast and I have had no issues with it.

I purchased this router so I could stop renting a router from TWC and save a few dollars off my monthly bill. The cost is tremendous and will lay for itself in a year or less (depending on your specific costs). I went with this model as I am a single person in a one floor, one bedroom apartment. One downside is there are NO routers for sale to replace TWC if you have a landline phone - which I do, but TWC allows you to use theirs for phone service only for free if you purchase and use this for your internet. -- meaning my attempt to continue to only have one piece of equipment failed & getting that answer from TWC took over 2 hours and three calls (and one call with the manufacturer). But if you know all of this going in to the purchase hopefully you can save yourself some time, money and hassle. If you have multiple users or a larger space , I would recommend purchasing the model above this - especially as the cost is fairly nominal. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and it performs as one would expect.

Simple set up and reliable so far, havn't had any problems. If your considering this item and its in your price range its a quality buy.

This modem/router was easy to set up right out of the box and it connected immediately with my new Comcast circuit. I did experience intermittent issues initially and after a few calls to Comcast they realized that the modem was not registered on their end. Why this took more than one call to uncover is a question I cannot answer, other than to say it's Comcast. The modem/router works fine and I connected a WiFi extender to it as well without issues to extend wireless access to the basement of our house. The only issue I had is with my IP phone, as it keep kicking the modem/router offline for about 15-30 seconds and then would come back online automatically. This was happening about once an hour. After trouble shooting with Motorola/Arris, I logged into the device and turned off SIP and that resolved my issue.

I like that this device has the modem and router together. It is one less device on my shelf. Speed is good. Easy set-up. Worth a look.

Works as expected. Delivers high bandwidths without any drop and maintains firm download speeds. And range is spectacular.

Picked up modem and installed through my computer. Setup was easy and automatic. Has four ports so it saved me from having to buy a separate router. After I set up the guest wifi. I was able to log on from anywhere in the house. The wifi signal is pretty strong. So far the modem is working flawlessly and I saving me from having to pay the cable company rental fees for their modem. This modem is better anyway. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family.

This two in one router and modem is fast and easy to install. And the DOCSIS 3.0 is a lot faster than the old 2.0.. Im very happy with this unit and so is my son who tells me that playing his online games are a lot faster and they never freez up or stop all together..

this was a very easy product to set up and get running right out of the box. The range seems very good in my home.

Modem is fast, has easy setup, & it's compatible w/TWC (Time Warner Cable).

I upgraded my modem and it is so much faster. Since I had multiple iPhones, my kids friends w/ iPhones, network extender, printer, lap tops etc, trying to get wifi and on the internet was difficult, slow and impossible. I bought this unit because Metrocast recommended to upgrade to a SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0. and I'm very happy with the product. I never have any problem with connecting to wifi now. It was easy to install and both Metrocast and Motorolla offer tech support if needed.

Good performance, fairly easy setup, reliable, good support. I love the options for the accounts (primary, and guest).
