I found Arris wireless cable modem easy to set up. The service in the store was great and informative. The sales person knew it was compatible for my wireless provider. It has made my cable wireless bill lower and increased my power and speed. I live in a large house and sometimes could not get wi fi down stairs but now I can through out the house. I tell everyone to trash the rented modem and get an Arris!! Thanks Best Buy

I am very pleased with the Arris Surfboard modem (SBG6580). It is very fast and simple to install.

I bought this after I talked to Cable One in Biloxi, MS and was told that Netgear was not compatible with their system and Motorola is what they recommended. No problems with the Wifi set up or use. Easyy set up. Equivalent to plug n play.

Other than having to restart the modem about every 2 weeks (just like I needed to do with the TWC modem) this product is performing as expected. The setup was straightforward and easily completed before calling TW to finish on their end.

We purchased this item to replace our outdated modem. It works for its purpose. We'd like to be able to change the password, but it's not a big deal. We have had problems with our devices losing connection, but it's been resolved quickly.

I installed one on my Comcast cable and it works very well. Very easy to setup and very fast.

Needed a new modem because the one we had from Time Warner was terrible. Since we got it we have no issues with connection and its faster then our old one. Overall we are satisfied.

it works fine. However, base on its type of wifi, the signal is not really powerful. I am living in single bedroom apartment and expect more powerful signal for a router with this price. I suggest a router with an external antenna.

We purchased this product to avoid leasing one from the cable company. The guy that came and hooked us up even complimented it saying it was better than the one they normally install. We've only had it a month, but so far, so good.

Had this product for approx. one month and have had no problems with it. My other D-Link modem/router I received from Verizon kept crashing and I had to keep turning it off then back on to get a signal once or twice a day.

I bought this router when I switched from FIOS to Xfinity. I did not want to pay the monthly rental on the company router. The setup was very easy. The connections are very fast. I have had no issues thus far and would recommend this router to anyone using Xfinity cable service.
