I decided to do the cable modem and router in one because I hated to have to pieces. This solved it.

I have always had issues with either the router or modem for years. I had to reset, unplug, disattach, etc. from time to time just to get service restored. Since I bought this product, I have had no problem getting a decent strong signal, without having to reboot. What a relief! And I don't have to pay extra to the cable company for provide this for me.

Works as expected but a bit pricey. I would recommend this product.

I chose this model because it's the same model offered by my cable company. Set up was easy and the modem/router has performed perfectly.

The router works well especially the 5ghz band. If you are buying and have Comcast/Xfinity this router does not meet the minimum for the triple play package as it lacks a phone jack. Even if you don't use the phone Xfinity/Comcast will not allow you to use it with this package without charging you a rental fee for one of their modems, if you try to return their modem they will drop your plan to a double package which for me costs more. Trust me I've complained about this and they did nothing!

the surfboard has been great in my application. Whole house coverage is excellent and speed is as advertised. Very happy with this unit.

Had to get my cable company out to make corrections because I couldn't get an internet signal. Then once that was fixed I ended up loosing my connection to my wireless printer on my network. Other than that it works great and I only have one piece of hardware acting as my modem and wireless router.

I bouth it so I didnt have to pay TWC for their. Modem everymonth and its truly a deal and the internet works really good.

Good device for the price although wi-fi range could be better.

I have seen a definite improvement in my speeds on my wifi connected devices. Plus it saves me on rental of modem from cable company.

It's great if you want an all in one device. Just watch out the the default password to login the modem is wrong on the instructions

It's a great device. I would suggest people spend a little more money on the Surfboard Xtreme, rather than this one. This is a good product, but it's one of the earliest versions of MOTO MOdem wifi combo device. It works fine and does its job, but still I don't feel like it's performing too excellent.

Bought this so I didn't have to rent through my ISP. It works great and is easy to set up.

I purchased this one as a gift for a for friend. Mine works well after 3 years except 1 external port has stopped working. Wired internet is great but an extender is needed for wifi if you have a large house. Great way to save on cable modem rental costs-pays for itself in less than a year.
