But if you are trying to get a larger wifi range for when you step outside then you would probably have to spend a bit more on something else. but if u have a medium sized house this would be just fine.

There are two people including me that live in my home and our internet speed was greatly reduced when switching to the surfboard. I would pass if I were you and keep looking!

This could be a good modem but not a good router

I got this product and was extremely disappointed to the WI tech. It does not work well, most of my devices always get disconnected.

Buying this product totally fixed all problems we had with the old modem -- insecure and unstable connection. We now have a stable internet connection, and these new models make it easy to have your network secured, literally with the push of a button! The only tiny issue we had was to figure out how to connect iPod, wii, tablets to this new network. We called Motorola customer service and they were very helpful, nice and professional. We're very satisfied!
