it works great and can give you 300 mbps like is said however the interface is complicated if you like to customise your connection however if you like plug and play its definitely an upgrade

Works great and saves me money for not having to rent from Comcast

Not only will this device be lighter on the wallet, and be less aggravating than having an independent modem and router, it will blow you away. It keeps my network stable much longer than I'd expected, has four upload and two downstream channels (at least four devices can stream on it with little to no latency loss, and at least two can do intensive downloads with little to no latency loss), its modem is the new DOCSYS 3.0 specification (that is good, trust me), and it is dual band capable (doubles data stream to connected devices that are, like most these days, dual band capable). It lacks only one main feature the best modem/router combo Motorola has to offer does not: conversion of coaxial cable in a home into its own network. This device could support four people gaming easily, I'm sure, but if one wanted more than that, it may be better to invest in an independent modem and gaming router, like a nighthawk. This thing is incredible bang for $140.00 US!

This product was a great buy. The modem/router combo enabled to save money on my cable bill by returning the cable companies modem. It was easy to set up and performs great. It has great range, ample speed and us ideal for online gaming.

It works great had a couple of problems with the previous one but I was not sure if it was my internet providers service but had the whole line redone and now it's working at too speed

My previous modem was a Motorola and I was very happy with it. When I was ready for an upgrade, I selected another Motorola modem with wireless capabilities. I was a little nervous about setting everything up myself but the directions were very clear and easy to understand. The setup was quick and painless. I am very satisfied with the Motorola Gateway Modem.

I bought this modem so I could return the Time Warner rental (with the ever increasing rates...). So far, it seems to be doing well. The WiFi portion has been somewhat concerning (it seems to turn it self off regularly). Before I attribute this issue fully to the modem, however, I want to ensure this isn't some trick that Time Warner is pulling. Remember their modems are WiFi capable yet they turn this feature off on the modem unless you pay extra for it. Not sure if somehow they have a signal coming through that is turning it off.

Very Pleased with this modem. I have 30 mg down from Suddenlink and this modem handles with no problem. Seems to transmit at least the same distance as my old linksys. Plugged my old linksys wireless router into the SURFboard and my old network, as well as my new one, were up and running. If I wanted to extend my wireless capabilities I could get a long piece of T5 and connect my old linksys at the other end of the house. No Problems with this combo modem/router.

This is all you need for your home. Its quick and easy to set up. you have great downloading speed power to use throughout your home.

The replacement router in lieu of renting a router from Comcast works perfectly. I'll recoup the cost of the router in 14 months which is a short time since having been charged a monthly fee for the past 30 years not knowing privately owned routers were available.

The Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem and Gigabit Router is great. It is much smaller than what comcast tries to provide you with, and the quality is fantastic. We have many devices from phones to tablets to gaming and it keeps up to par. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a 2 in one modem & router.
