I bought this on a recommendation of a sales person. I just ordered cable and was told I could save the monthly rental of a router by buying my own. The sales person said he bought the above and got 10 mgb faster than the 30 I would get. The cable installer came and said he wouldn't install it because it also had a router. I waited to return it for about 18days. Guess what? They wouldn't accept the return at Best Buy. Their return policy is 14 days. Well now I have spend $166 for something that is basically useless to me. I'm just glad it wasn't the clothes dryer I was going to buy from them. I had heard that Best Buy Charges a percentage to return an item. I guess i should have read the receipt.

Works great, was easy to set up and haven't had any issues. Almost went cheaper and realized those didn't have Wifi, was worth the extra cost to have my devices go wireless.

So far I like this product. Works great.But I thought it was a little expensive.

I bought Arris-Surfboard extreme N300 Dual-band router Modem w/dicsis 3.0 cable Modem from Best Buy In the long run its cheaper than renting one from comcast every month.

I bought this product instead of lease from Comcast $10 per month

this one cost $50 more than the one I bought in Florida less than a year ago

Bought this modem a little over a month ago, and so far so good.

Got this because I didn't want to rent one from the cable company for $10 a month and I'm so happy I did, signal is strong and I haven't had any issues with it what so ever.

Very good product that has be great connecting my 5 wireless devices at once.

If one wants to save money from there cable company this is the route to go.

It's a modem and it only serves one purpose. That being said, it works fine.

This modem and wifi combo works great for my subscription to 25 mbs comcast upload speeds. The device can handle much higher uploads so check to see if you need all this capability.

Originally bought a new modem but upon getting home, I realized I also should get a new Wi-Fi router as well. Returned the new modem and purchased this dual item which is just great.

It's original password is a pain and can't have too many devices hooked up
