    Greate Modem/Router Combo

With any of the newer modems or routers on the market, their simple ease of use and set up is pretty straight forward. After having verizon and others modem/router combo's installed with their internet services I was a bit wary of buying a combo together. I've always had separate. That being said, I'm also not a fan of looking at my inet bill every month and seeing a charge for essentially 'renting' or 'borrowing' their hardware. So when I moved into my new place I went to bestbuy. The tech there assured me this would be money saving and easy to setup and use. No worrying to see if this router plays well with that modem. And it's worked great. Took about 5 minutes to setup my secure network. While it may take me a few years to come out ahead of renting the cable companies hardware, I much prefer to own my own.

I've had this product up and running for a few weeks now. Went online and watched U Tube videos for set up instructions - was pretty straight forward from there - fairly quick with Time Warner - up and running in about 15/20 minutes top. My wife and I don't stream a lot, mostly laptops and smart phones and it has been flawless and my speeds are very good(better than with the old rented modem from TWC :-). Happy Happy Happy so far!

Easy set-up. Convenient combination of modem and wireless router in one device. Reasonably priced. Performance is solid and reliable (unlike my Internet Provider!)

    Works with Time Warner 50mb

Originally purchased the Motorola SBG6580 which is listed by Time Warner as a compatible model. It did work but maxed out at 25mb download no matter how it was configured. The tech that installed said it is a known limitation of the model and to pick up this one at best buy. I swapped the modem/router, made a quick call to TWC, then configured a few options on the router and I was up and running with the 50mb download speeds. Used for 2 months now. Good signal, modem/router is downstairs and the signal to all devices upstairs is very strong (at 100% output). Have not had to power off/on since it was installed. Seems to be slow with Apple home sharing. Attached my old router to one of the ports and use that for Apple devices.

I needed a Modem with wireless so I could return the rental modem to my cable company and stop my monthly rental fee. 3.0 compatable and with a wide span of wireless through my home and property! Very simple to set up and get going. Continues to steadily broadcast fast cable internet. The router has two iPads, 3 smart Tvs, two desktops, a lap top, cell phone, Xbox, and a blue ray player wirelessly hooked in and they all operate at great speed. Never er any issues with getting and staying connected. I am very satisfied with the price, quality, and performance of this product!

So I recently convinced my roommates to get rid of the 8 dollar a month leased modem and buy their own all in one modem. While installing it was pretty easy and it works great. My only complaint with it is that the WiFi signal seems to be fairly weak. I'm using an old dlink router as a signal reapeat to help out with the issue. So if you have lots of walls or big house, you'll for sure want a signal extenders

Easy set up, simple instructions, works very well. This router/modem is a replacement for one that was 10 years old; I can't believe the increase in speed - both for the desk top and the tablet.

I bought this modem combo so that I would not have to pay $10 a month to rent a modem from TWC. So far I have not had any problems with it. The set up was pretty easy on my end, however TWC tried to make it difficult. It is on the approved list with them. I would have like for it to be cheaper but I like the two in one feature and it does not take up too much space.

Bought as a replacement modem for failing Comcast modem. This comes with WiFi, so had choices as to whether I wanted to use its or my Netgear router for network interfacing. Simple to use, setup and register right out of the box. Preliminary registering needed BEFORE removing rented modem from Comcast ISP account, but that too was simple and went without a hitch. I honestly was, nor am unable to find a "bad" point since it's been inline now for a few months. Have used other Motorola modems and this was easier to use and configure compared to them. Excellent buy and is compatible with the majority of cable internet providers in my area.

I replaced my old router and modem with this all in one model. It saves space and faster than my old one ,it was very easy to install, maybe 15 minutes, and when I think about the money I save by owning instead of renting from my cable company well forget about it ! ,I bought it a month ago and So far I haven't had any problems

I switched internet service from Verizon to Comcast, and my concern was the impact this could have on my daily work. Then I decided buy my own modem instead to rent one from Comcast and the transfer has been transparent and a I feel the modem made my job in the internet fast and smooth including a very easy installation.

Wanna quite paying 10 or more dollars a month on your cable/internet bill, then buy your own modem. This is an excellent product and have had no issues with it whatsoever. Its fast and very convenient to have my modem and router in 1 very small package. I definitely recommend this product.

Working with our TWC internet the modem is working fine. Gets more house coverage than our former modem with Century Link. (Of course, the fact that we're getting a lot better download and upload speeds with TWC doesn't hurt! Just to let you know-- this one DOES work with TWC. The CenturyLink modem that we BOUGHT from CL doesn't. Just FYI.

This is the second time I have bought this product because it works so well and is fairly cheap. I used one on an area about 1600 sqft and so far no problems and have had it there for 3 years. Used another one on a 12sqft area and its still doing great. Used it with Comcast internet.

I found the online information for the Time Warner compatable internet modem to be excellent. After purchasing and installing the modem it was found to do everything that the manufacturer stated that it would do and more. It is capable of handling the highest speed any of the internet providers would be capable of transmitting eliminating the necessity to have to upgrade the modem in the future. Long term it was a no brainer to buy and own your own modem versus renting one for $8.00 a month.
