The 2-n-1 feature is what sold me on this unit, plus it was on sale. I've had it up & running just a under a week shy of 2 months. I have experienced problems with having access to my wi-fi when I have more than 3 items in use at the same time. Either I can't get that 3rd item to connect, or it takes 3-5 minutes to do so. Also the range isn't great. I don't think I have a large house, only 1200 sq. ft., but I find that I can't get any signal at the end of the driveway. There are 2-3 models higher than the one I am using. I wanted to upgrade but the price was very prohibitive when I had just got my unit. I will look into it again later, but for now I'll deal with the lack of and sometimes iffy signal.

Comcast first installed a gateway that could not give me the speed I was paying for, then the second one they bricked trying to speed it up. SO I bought this one from Best Buy and it is perfect!

I purchased a new modem/router for a new service by Comcast for my vacation cabin. The modem/router that I chose was on the Comcast recommended list. However when the Comcast technician tried to communicate with the new modem it would not connect. we tried for over an hour to establish communication with the modem. Finally gave up and installed the Comcast modem/router provided by Comcast.

The admin password in the documentation that came with this modem/router was incorrect. You have to go online to their site and then get the correct password. Also the signal does not carry as far as my Linksys stand alone router did. Otherwise I haven't had any problems with it so far, have had it for about 2 months now.

Very easy to setup. Just plug in and contact internet provider to register modem.

Good product that has a rather simple set up. Works well though out the house.

Needed a router that would work well with Xfinity Internet. It got the job done.

We purchased the modem to eliminate the monthly charge from our internet company. We now have wireless because we bought this modem. It was easy to hook up and has worked wonderful. Great purchase

Reputable name. Came highly recommended by sales associate. Easy installation.

Install is simple. Getting your internet provider to activate definitely can be a hassle if you don't have some computer skills, but beats renting one. Been using it for a month now and have had no issues. Not a single reboot! Excellent performance! Easily stream video on three devices at the same time with no lag.

THIS UNIT HAS TONS OF OPTIONS AND A LOT OF SPEED TO GO WITH IT. IS PERFECT FOR HOME NETWORKS. I ALSO HAVE THE MODEL UP FROM THIS IN MY BUSINESS, AND IT KICKS BUTT AS WELL. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Easy set up and activation with my Internet provider. Not paying equipment rental fees to my provider will help pay for this purchase in less than a year. Good wi fi coverage in my house,

Set up was a breeze. Just plug it in and call your service provider! It's so much better than my last one. Rarely have problems with it shutting down or losing signal! Definitely recommend!

I bought this product as a replacement to Netgear C3000 that failed. This one has good reputation, but the reviews are right in the set up: you will have to call your cable provider and connect it... and it takes time and is not plug-and-play at all. If this one works longer than the previous one - which was less than a year, we will be happy with it... and it has 2 yrs warranty!
