bought the unit from Best Buy as recommended by my friend. I have no problem hooking it up, set up was easy with the help of the cable provider technical support. Once unit is set at a good signal channel, it works wonderfful. It is fast and easily recognized by any wireless devices.

This was a breeze to install.. It literally took less than 10min. the signal is much stronger than I thought it would be. This is a small unseen unit. Perfect for out of sight placement

Setup was easy and the range is good for a small apartment. Connection has been better and more reliable than the modem provided by comcast.

After reading so many reviews, i found this product to be great buy. however, the issue i had was with wifi signal being dropped or weak, specially if you leave in a multilevel home. the setup was easy. amongst the reviews, users did say that wifi is not ideal to have within the modem. overall, satisfied with the direct connection on this product.

I have bought multiple moto sb units and always find my self returning to this one. It is a solid combo router modem for cable internet. Very reliable and hearty. Never had one get smoked due to pwr surge or other mishaps. Not only reliable but fast and easy setup. Only set back is in the setup paperwork there's a mis print saying portal access login and pass is admin and password, but in actuality pass is Motorola. Other than minor misprint it is a solid and reliably well priced alternative to renting from your cable provider. Saves u like 10 bucks a month and over a few years that adds up to a new computer. Purchased on line and arrived as promised with no problems. Comcast tech came to the house and set up TV and Internet without any issue and works as described. It has been in service 2 weeks located in upstairs bonus room. I do notice that the signal is weak downstairs and does not reach the last bedroom. Not talking a big house so this is not a long distance. Others have noted the same problem with a short range. Had a Linksys wireless in the past and it would extend further than the Motorola Surfboard.

Overall the speed is fast and the range seems to be OK for my fathers house. Doesn't work to well when I'm outside, but it could also be due to the location of the unit itself.

Good overall. Easy to set up. When connected, it is fast. There have been a few times, though, where we had to re-start it because it would start dropping the connections.

Happy to say that Install was simple, works fine with Time Warner Cable, and wifi has a reasonable range. Able to stream Netflix and use Airave access point to connect to Sprint phone service using relatively low speed (low cost) internet service. I credit the modem for maximizing the bandwidth usage - works as well as I would have hoped.

So far, I've had 0 trouble with this wireless router. Easy install, works perfectly, only a month into service but there haven't been any issues yet with this modem/router

This Cable modem is easy to set up and very seldom does it need to be reset also Comcast can load updates automatically for you so it doesn't become outdated or slow.

Had it for a month. replaced my cable's $10/month modem. Easy set up with the cable company. But needed later reinstallation by calling Motorola/Arris. Was lucky to get a knowledgeable Tech. I have several devices attached wirelessly to it besides a phone device physically wired to it. Seems like 15 Mbps is sufficient for ~9 devices.

Have had a netgear before but got expensive to get online help once the warranty period was over. I feel the Motorola is much smaller, simpler and worth the money.

My mom's house in Carnegie, PA only has 1 cable outlet. So Comcast split the cable line to add this Wi-Fi Modem & Router and it works beautifully. It is small, lightweight, and easy to change features online! I am getting myself one too. Much better than renting from Comcast and the design is sleek and small.

Was told to get this router/modem by Cox Cable saved alot of money by buying from Best Buy. Then I call cox and got this set up within minutes! Works great!!

Works well with Comcast to avoid monthly charges. Great range. Easy to set up...pretty much plug and play.

Decided to give this a shot as I was tired of seeing the $10 monthly leasing fee on my cable bill. Way above expectations. ...speed have actually increased with this modem vs my Comcast issued model. No drops with WiFi ever...plenty of bandwidth for multiple device video streaming simultaneously.

This product was very easy to install and has so far solved my problems. I had a horrible cox cable modem/router that was given to me when I got their service and was constantly having to power it down. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but you can definitely tell there's a difference.

I was looking for a modem and WiFi router and I came across this modem which was a combined of both. Works pretty well for the price I paid.
