I'm a senior citizen who recently connected to the internet. I was delighted that I was able to connect the modum/router by myself. T'was so easy to do. This product was a perfect fit for my medium sized home.

made my internet 56345346 times faster. Cant complain about this terrific product.

It is a good working modem, it is fast, and worth every penny that I spent on it.

Replaced the rental cable modem with this and improved on my router that was about 7 years old. I was spending $7 per month "renting" a cable modem, so this should pay for itself within a year and a half. Easy to install, easy to use, and hasn't had to be "reset" yet.

Wireless works as stated the only reason I didn't give it five stars is on some devices it would not pick up on a consistent basis. I could not confirm if it was the device or the router but overall a very good product.

Been working perfectly I even had a cabinet fall on it its still working perfectly.

After using the Best Buy site for reviews along with an assortment of other review sites I settled on the Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme modem/ router. I checked prices at a good number of web sites and went to my local store. At the store I mentioned the "lower price" on the Amazon site. The sales associate looked up the price and reduced the price I paid at Best Buy. How can this be topped?

This product was very easy to install for those of us who are not computer savvy!

Had it for about a month and once I changed my cable have had no issues whatsoever. I read that maybe modem/router combos aren't the way to go, but this is small, doesn't take up much room and it looks kind of cool too. Have two wired connections plugged in and the wirless hits everything else I need it to. My only gripe is that it wouldn't log me into the IP address thing to change my name or password so I have to use the default. Probably an easy fix if I knew anything about networks or made a quick call.

Ya I bought this it's the modem and retriever all in one and all for one. So the Comcast guy who couldn't read the large Motorola word as well as the logo and some how this guy continues to earn money. So I had some difficulty with the installer who knew nothing but "huh" "I don't know" "where?" The product works great and is reliable like a my dog to tear up a stuffed animal when left unattended. I am able to watch Netflix and Hulu and play online games with no problem. The real issue is my iPod touch and apples no good keyboard it knows to turn a bunch of random letters into a word but if it's a word one letter off all the words breaks loose and mean nothing So go with an android phone or tablet sooooo much better than Apple <-this is it, it capitalizes it but I have iPod before it, it stays lower case. Apple you got worms!! Back to the modem It works like a modem should witchcraft and sorcery.

This was first modem/router purchase and so far great product and the customer service for the product is very helpful with any connection issues to wifi. It saved me money from renting one from the internet provider

I'm not a techie and this modem was easy to setup and saves me monthly rental fee.

The Arris was easy to set up and has been working smoothly since we bought it.

This was a simple router to install.. seems robust and ready to last a long time.

Modem maintaints a steady speed. Very satisfied amd would definitely recommend.
