Exceeded all of my expectations. Very easy to install and manage the settings. Strong signal even when i am outside on the balcony or down in the garage. Performs well when trying to stream content through google chrome or playing online content.

Easy to setup cable modem and router. Best to go to Motorola's website in the setup and then call your cable company to have them activate the device for your cable Internet. This device will pay for itself in 11 months based on what the cable companies charge to rent a modem.

This product is easy to install and less space and wires. One product works as router and modem. Some providers will not enable the wireless router without a charge. But you can do it yourself easy. It is worth setting the wireless by yourself, when you do that you will save money on your. For example Brighthouse in orlando will charge $5 every month if they enable the wireless.

Once we got it set up it has been reliable. But It took a few hours to set it up. Hard for non-techies. The information on the sheet that came with the box was confusing. Especially setting up Id and passwords. The switch from the easier set up for home use (non public) to public use (with passwords) cut off the wifi range. The instruction DVD that came with the box did not play.

I purchased the SURFBoard eXtreme so that I wouldn't be paying recurring monthly fees to my cable provider for a rented cable modem. So far, the modem/router has worked incredibly well. It has a strong, consistent signal and allows fast speed even with multiple devices connected. My one complaint is around technical support. The password to access the modem is incorrect on the documentation provided in the packaging and changing your device's password isn't he easiest thing to accomplish. Technical support provided me the new password to access my router and then wanted $30 to help me change my router's password - didn't really feel like support, rather a way to make another buck after I just bought the modem/router. That was a bit frustrating. Yet the equipment is working very well and I would definitely recommend it.

easy setup, just called Cox and provisioned. Left wifi settings alone.

Works better than Time Warner did and now I don't pay any rental fee.

The device is compatible with Time Warner Cable and sets up in just a few minutes. I have been using it for weeks now with no issues. Wi-Fi works well in upstairs, downstairs and outside.

I got this modem router because Comcast told me all my problems were because of my Netgear equipment. I bought the Motorola Surfboard as a result. So 164$ later I have a really nice router/modem but the internet still quits. I really like this device but I liked my Netgear stuff too. It is as good. I'm totally happy with my purchase, not happy with Comcast.

Purchased the unit as part of converting household from DSL to cable internet. Unit has performed as expected. WIFI range meets my expectations and needs. I have a hard-wired TV connected to the router. A couple times the TV could not find the signal which I resolved by unplugging and re-plugging connection at the router. Not sure yet if this was the TV or the router.

Nice all in one modem/router! Increased my internet speed. Worth it!
