This is a very interesting movie, though it is slow and doesn't really contain much action. It's more cerebral than anything else. Different at least in how we view alien visitation.

Slow moving at first, but then you will get caught up in the well-written story line. It will keep you guessing until the end of the movie. Buy it today for an entertaining evening.

This is a wonderful movie! Good special effects, great story line. This is the kind of movie you need to pay attention to, this isn't just another alien comes to earth movie with a bunch of explosions and random attacks.

This is not your normal action packed movie. It leaves you wondering where they going. Not until the end does it the plot message is realized. Make you think about a bigger picture.

I knew I wanted to see this movie after all all the chatter I heard when it was in theaters. When Best Buy had it on sale, I jumped at the opportunity and was not disappointed.

I missed the theater showing and been waiting for its DVD release. It's slower than what I expected, but overall a solid movie. I enjoyed it. The storyline will keep your interest.

Love the way this movie takes you through the process of acknowledging that if a new specie were to be encountered, humans would need to first learn to speak their own language and vice versa to be able to communicate

This movie actually grew on me. My first time seeing Arrival was luke warm, but my brother works for a theatre and took me a second time. It took that second time did it for me.

I liked this movie. Well done & makes you think. But it's very cerebral, so definitely not for everyone. If you want an action packed alien movie, this is definitely not for you.

I enjoyed the movie. I was hoping for more action. Kind of reminds of Contact with jodie foster just has a little better ending than that movie. I would still recommend it

I enjoyed this movie, but it did move a little slow. The writing was good and the characters were likable. I do love a good sci-fi movie and this was a pretty decent one.

Everything about this Blu-Ray is great. The video is stunning, and the film itself is gorgeous. The sound design is amazing and it has a great special features section. Definitely a must buy if you like the film

Most viewers may assume this a CGI-heavy action film with gunfire, etc. It's not. What you'll get instead is an expertly crafted, tense drama that will leave you thinking about the movie long after the credits roll.

I loved this film for what it is not. It is not Alien, Independence Day, or Mars Attacks. It is slow paced, allows for character development, and takes you through an enigmatic process to a surprising resolution.

I am a sci fi fan and this film did not disappoint. I was realistic as well as entertaining. The special effects were minimal but that was all that was necessary. Great cast, a little scary at times, which was great.

I enjoyed this movie very much. It is a different promise on an alien arrival movie. I found it to be an interesting new take. Wonderful not to be filled with fear of aliens, but learn so much. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent example of what Science Fiction can be, and it is rare to see such a good one of that genre come out of a big studio. It is full of great performances, and the story is good from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this movie! It is not your standard "aliens vs human civilization" movie, but it is a movie that keeps you guessing. I enjoyed it so much I have watched it a few times already!

Great story with an interesting look at what intelligence could be in alien life. Also has great insights into the basis for our communication between humans and how our fears take over. Definitely worth seeing.

Arrival is one of the best movies I have seen. Great movie that makes you think about your life and what you would do if given that opportunity/knowledge. Even after the credits roll your mind will still be going.
