This is a great, enjoyable film. The affects are perfect for telling the story. The film's story unfolds and challenges you to figure it out. Patience is satisfied in the end.

I always buy Dvds. Cloud is subject to internet availability, location access, and B'S the companies want to impose on you. If you own it it is yours anytime you want network or not, at home or not, in USA or not.

A rarity in today's market. This was more about language and communication than explosions and laser blasts, but it still had enough action if that's what you require.

This was easily one of the best sci-fi movies I have seen. I really enjoyed the part about learning how to communicate with the aliens, and the time it look to interpret their language. overall...money well spent!

I was looking forward to this movie as it had some great reviews from the National Movie Reviewers, etc. Unfortunately after I watched I was completely baffled at how it got such good ratings. It was so slow and just seemed to drag on. The only great thing about this was that Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner did a great job as the two lead characters and the incredible twist at the end. However I would rent it first and watch it before you buy it. Definitely it is not a movie to buy and have in your home collection.

This film can be hard to follow for some, but it is a very good story line! Wouldnt recommend for kids or teens as it my be "slow" or hard to understand for them. Includes the UV copy and iTunes Digital Copy.

Should have won the Oscar for best movie. Amy Adams best movie by far. She Carey's this movie from beginning to end. Abbot and Costello will have a different meaning now. You'll understand once you see the movie.

A very intelligent sci-fi film. It's filmed with a sort of stylized look, but, it's the sound that will knock you out! The heavy bass will blow you away and is a great example to show off your audio system!

I highly recommend this film. Without giving away the plot I would say this is an interesting take on the theme of Alien Invasion. Beautiful to look at in 1080p blu ray.

I can’t think of many more films that hit me harder emotionally. Don’t let the Sci-Fi cover up fool you. Villeneuve > Nolan all day every day.

This is a fascinating movie that is intellectually rewarding. However, even with a good performance by Amy Adams, it's hard to get emotionally involved with the characters.

This was a challenging movie to watch. But once I understood the premise, it was fascinating to see Amy Adams' character still make the decision to make the choice she did.

It seemed to move a little slow in the beginning. Maybe it was just me but, you didn't know what was really happening until the last twenty minutes. I did enjoy this movie.

I bought this because of the attention it was given at the Oscars and I wasn't disappointed. It's a smart and entertaining movie. The pacing was good and it was just a breathe of fresh air as far as movies go.

A great & thrilling sci-fi masterpiece that focuses on the emotions of the characters in the movie. The director also keeps the aliens a mystery through the entire film until the end! Definitely worth a watch!
