its one of my favorite type of movies where you will need to watch a second time to fully understand

Really not a sci-fi movie. More concerned with the human condition. And it was gorgeous. Amy Adams' performance was thrilling to watch. Spectacular!!

This movie is a cool sci-fi adventure, with a unique twist! Something I was not expecting, and great performances from Amy Adams, and Jeremy Renner!!

If you enjoy alien movies you need to see this. It makes you think and opens your mind to the "what if." It leaves you thinking. A must see for sure.

First time watching the movie..not sure about it. Second time watching the movie..loved the story..what a concept. One of our favorite go to movies.

Decided to stop by and pick-up Arrival. I did not get a chance to watch it when it was out in theatres. I really enjoyed the movie and recommend it.

This was a good movie, however I found it to be a little complicated. I didn't want to think too hard while I'm enjoying Amy Adams. This movie made me think a little bit too hard. If you like science and detective work then this is a good movie for you but if you like a movie that just throws itself at you without having to do too much thinking like "Aliens " you may not like this movie.

Fell asleep the first time watching this movie, but that was after 13 hour work shift. Going to rewatch it because I hear it’s quite amazing.

The story is different than other alien movies. Human was trying to communicate and learnt the alien language.

I enjoyed the movie and also like the actors. Different point of view was nice. Would recommend this movie to others

My husband and I really enjoyed this movie! We have already watched it twice since purchasing. It is a refreshing change on alien encounter movies.

Bought this for my wife and we both enjoyed it. Not a movie of the year but still worth owning...will watch again.

Wasn't sure where this was going to start but it did pull you along. Worth the watch and liked the overall message.

Saw it in theaters and had to get the movie. A bit slow moving at times... but overall a great new approach to a sci-fi alien arrival flick.

Wasn't sure about this one but once you get through the first half hour or so it hooks you until the very end.

This is a beautifully shot, thought-provoking film with excellent performances by Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.

What Scifi elements there were, were good, acting was good too. But it seems they put more energy into making this another M. Night. Shamalock (spelling?) type movie than what it really could be. First time watchers will be entranced waiting for the "turn" or "big scifi" event, but will be left feeling a little empty I think..... if they know this going in, it may help their opinions.

Did not think the movie touched me. Yes , the acting is great but the aliens are not well made
