1st rented this movie from Redbox & I loved it immediately. Had to buy it in 4K to play in my 4K DVD player that is attached to my 4K tv and total surround sound. Took the movie to a whole new level!!

This movie is great story wise and stunning visually and audibly. The story takes a few major turns that you wouldn't expect and Amy Adams delivers a performance worthy of an Oscar in my humble opinion.

Any science fiction movie has some strangeness, because the movie idea is experiencing something you haven't seen before. That means it is horrifying, wondrous or absurd, or even all of these things.

This is not a "action" type sci fi movie but a reflective and intelligent one you need to think about a good bit after. I enjoyed it but not sure everyone will

This is an excellent movie by one of my favorite directors, Denis Villeneuve (Sicario). It is not a typical sci-fi movie, but, a really smart, dramatic film with a soul. I highly recommend it!

Love the music score and cinematography. Aliens aside, the theme of the beauty and need of communication is very moving...

The movie seems to be a little slow in the beginning but later in the movie all the little things start becoming very clear. Trust me, this movie is not what you think it's about. It is worth watching.

Arrival is a movie that will keep you guessing throughout the movie. Interesting ending that will have you question decisions if you had knowledge in advance.

This is about first contact with aliens. The story is a little slow in places but you need to stay with it. And you do need to pay attention, if not you may get lost\. I very much enjoyed this one.

This was a straight forward movie until the last third when the explanation went off in a different direction. I will not elaborate, but it is worth the watch.

Arrival is one of the best movies of 2016. An original story with interesting twists. Great performances. Excellent transfer and nice extra features. Amy Adams should have been nominated for an Oscar.

This movie is difficult to follow at the beginning. It jumps around through time. I had to watch it twice to get the full understanding but it was worth it.

I looked forward to watching this movie because of all the rave reviews about it. The movie was interesting until the second half when some soldiers left a bomb inside the alien vessel. The movie went downhill from that point and the ending was confusing and very disappointing. It is a shame because the movie started out so promising. I will never watch this movie again and once again I learned that just because a movie gets great reviews does not mean it is a great movie.

I love alien movies! This movie did not disappoint. It's realistic, intelligent and kept my attention the entire time. If you are fascinated with space and the unknown then I recommend The Arrival.

One of my favorite films of the Oscar candidates. Smart, emotional and exceptionally acted by both Jeremy Renner and Amy Adams (should have been nominated).

As Spock might say; Fascinating. This is a trip through linear time and a thought-provoking communication with aliens.
