I enjoyed this movie, and was happy to hear it was getting a 4K steelbook release.

Deep thought provoking writing and performances make this movie one not to be missed.

This is one of the films that I consider a masterpiece and with it director Denis Villeneuve proved himself as a master of sci-fi, a reputation that he further cemented with the equally excellent Blade Runner 2049. I wish all he directed was sci-fi as he's incredibly talented! This is why I am excited for the upcoming Dune! Anyways, the story, characters, tone, look, music, feel, vibe, and just atmosphere of Arrival are all great. It is a beautiful film despite being dark both thematically and visually. The 4K transfer is the best it has ever looked and the audio is good. The steelbook, for me, was just the icing on the cake of an already great package. I love the artwork and look of it as it fits the tone of the film. If you love this film like me or just enjoy cerebral sci-fi films, this is a must buy! Highly recommended.

One of the best, most heartfelt Science Fiction films of the previous twenty-five years has finally received the stunning audiovisual presentation it so richly deserves. Denis Villeneuve (long since proven to be an amazing director of Science Fiction epics - "Blade Runner 2049", "Dune") began his string of intelligent, well written, and brilliantly directed sci-fi with this intriguing, though ultimately extremely rewarding cinematic experience. A must see film now available in 4K, housed in a beautiful steelbook. If your a fan of exceptional, thought provoking films, classic science fiction or mind-bending (in the best way) cinema, then perhaps it's time for this films "Arrival" upon your shelf.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Executed to perfection by the people in front and behind the camera so of course I had to take any opportunity to pay tribute to that and I can seldom think of a better way to do so than to buy a premium version of its physical release. Not much more can be said about Best Buy’s excellent steel book series of releases except that I hope they continue to do them indefinitely. Not only are 4K blu rays technologically superior to streaming even in the best conditions available but there’s something about a physical object and the ritual of movie watching therein that can be imbued with more significance and emotional weight than streaming services offer.

ARRIVAL is the kind of beautiful, intelligent sci-fi that at a key point in the story makes you reevaluate everything you have so far witnessed and untangle a web you never even realized you were caught in. In its themes on the importance of communication, integrated effort, and what we perceive as the flow of time, it also serves as a stark, not to mention timely reminder to view history as interconnected threads from our present reaching both backward and forward.

Arrival is a very good movie but also a very complex story; it’s not a sit and down watch and when the credits are rolling you think wow that was fun. The transfer from film to disc is very much on the dark side not bright or very colorful; I’m sure that this was the director’s intent too comply with the tone of the story. The audio is good and match’s the overall tone. When’s it’s all said and done ; it’s a film that’s provoking and current with our time and the world we all share

Arrival is one of the greatest sci-fi movies to release in the last 10 years. This re-release with an absolutely gorgeous steelbook makes the purchase even more worth it. The steel case features a matte finish on the front and back with an almost holographic title on the front. If you're a physical media collector, this Steelbook is one of the best re-releases to own.

I have been waiting so long for a worthy special edition to be released for this film! While the special features are exactly the same as the previous steelbook edition that was released, this packaging is much more visually stunning and elegant. I am so happy they released a new design.

Best buy is the only place to get this 4k Steelbook. I had been tempted to get this movie in the past but when i saw the steelbook i knew it was a must get. The 4k image quality is stunning, and the collector's steelbook makes it worth the price. It's a must own in any collection.

Another movie i bought for the collector's edition. this movie is riveting. It will keep you in suspense for the entire movie. I say 2 thumbs up, 3 if you had a another thumb. Amy Adams is outstanding. Sit back get the popcorn and the coke cola prepare to be amazed.

A standout science fiction piece that does something unique within the genre; it focuses on communication between species as the primary means of growth and understanding with optimism. The steelbook art is superb and a welcome addition to any person's film library.

One of the best sci-fi movies of the century and, the last decade and of all time, this film stands well above many previous movies from the genre. It presents a serious debate about this great art form. The steelbook is beautiful and the 4K transfer is amazing.

This is a gorgeous steelbook that compliments the movie really well. The color scheme and intimate details make this steelbook a collectors favorite.

took me a 2nd viewing to understand Arrival. after 2nd viewing it made alot sense she saw the future thru visions sees daughter and china dictators and fixed only problem but daughter dies its sad but good story kept me in a wow factor

Love sci-fi movies and this one doesn't disappoint. Early story leaves a few questions marks but ties them up in the end. This isn't a dumb action packed popcorn flick, it's your thinking man's sci-fi. Sit back and enjoy!

The art of this steelbook is as beautiful as the movie. It's so captivating. If you like Denis Villenueva's work this is a great pick up

Love this movie so much the message of it is so profound it's a must watch for anyone who hasn't seen it just make sure you have some tissues close by cause this one will definitely pull on your heart strings.

Excellent sci-fi movie. Overall an excellent 4K transfer. However, I am a little disappointed this didn’t include a Dolby Atmos audio track. PS the steel book looks great on my movie shelf.

Arrival is a fantastic contemporary sci-if film made even more compelling for collectors in this beautiful steelbook edition. It’s a great addition to that bookshelf full of steelbooks.
