When I was a kid, I loved comic books. I would almost always go with Marvel over DC, but I still liked the wide range of Characters that DC had. Now, as an adult I am totally enjoying seeing comic book heroes I loved come to life on the small screen. This show is just so well done...it keeps getting better with each season. I really enjoy how we find out little by little about the origins of Arrow in flashbacks to his time on the island and other places. The acting is good, the stories are good...I plan to keep buying them until I have them all. And realistically, if they keep being offered for such a good price, I should soon have everything that is out. And you know, I'm ok with that.

With the Second season of Arrow things are getting a little bit more interesting. This are beginning to evolve and get more interesting. I see the first season as kind of the introduction season and now that we know Oliver better he can kick some tail and take names easier. The action and stories have gotten better and more characters for the DC world are beginning to emerge some. Arrow carries on the same dark and gritty feel that the Dark Knight trilogy brought to the table. It is a great series for a more street level comic book character that I can see continuing on for many more seasons. I wish i could wield a bow in a similar fashion. That would be awesome.

The second season of Arrow continues the story set up in the first season. Oliver queen goes missing for 5 years only to returns a changed man with a goal and a promise he must keep. If you havent seen the first season check it out, its pretty good too. In the second season, Oliver Queen faces a war within himself as he tries to discover the man he truly is. Should he kill the villains he works so hard to stop, or should he let them live? Yet there is more that lurks in the shadows of Starling City. Will the Arrow be able to protect those he loves from his past? Well if you want to know buy this while it's still 16.99, it is soooooo worth it.

The best adventure heroes are those that aren't perfect... and Oliver Queen is far from it. Stephen Amell's portrayal of the comic book hero is nuanced and intelligent; his seamless transitions from daredevil athlete and arrogant rich boy to the vulnerable, wounded survivor hiding beneath both masks makes the second season of Arrow a pleasure to watch, and I can't wait to see what new plot twists the next installment will bring to this engaging modern-day saga. :-)

What does it mean to be a hero?

After a solid debut season, Arrow really kicked it into high gear for an amazing second outing. The performances are fantastic, though none stand out quite as much as Manu Bennett's Deathstroke. It gets really emotional at times, and those moments are often the highlights of the season. The action was really well-choreographed, and at the heart of the season, Oliver's journey to go from a murderous vigilante to a hero for his city was truly inspirational

I bought this and the other two seasons during the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Movie Money promotion for $14.99 each, and they all came with $8 movie certificates which I used to see BvS multiple times! Of course I would've bought these even without the promotion, as the Blu-rays for this TV show are awesome! This is one of my all-time favorite shows, and I love watching the deleted scenes and other extras that come with the Blu-rays =)

For a slightly lesser known comic, but equally loved, the CW did a really good job with telling the story of The Green Arrow. Obviously it is not completely on par with the comic, but then, comics are constantly changing and evolving. The show has lots of action and drama. The actor who plays Oliver Queen, a.k.a. The Green Arrow, I think is well suited for it, even more so than the one that played the part in Smallville.

It's been a few weeks since I watched Season 2. I do recall upon finishing Season 1 the cliffhanger made me want to pop in S2. I bought it with the incentive of free tickets to Batman Superman making it value added. I had not watched any episodes prior either on TV or Netflix. But after seeing WB's take on Flash I had high hopes and I like to think they were well met. From Slade Wilson to Ollie's progression it was fun. Some of the expanded backstory worked while other parts felt eh unneeded. But hey I'm not the writer. If you're a fan of classic drawn out comic stories where it takes 4-5 issues to tell a story then Arrow delivers. It has solid 1-2 ep arcs n then has an overreaching Season story especially good for marathon watchers (I hate the term Binge).

I hate the Green Arrow character in the comics and animated series. He's a liberal hippie douchebag who rallies against the 1% while being the 1% and is easily the most punchable jerk in the DC Universe. The Hood/The Arrow/Oliver Queen in this TV show, however, is absolutely nothing like his comic book counterpart: he's actually likable. He's also basically Batman, but younger, less wise, and with a bow.

Arrow's Second Season was a well written & solid year of great television. This 23 episode action packed season brought us an adversary that took our Emerald Archer to a whole new level of concern. We see an old love come back for Ollie in the form of an old friend, & new friendships form from new & unexpected alliances. Bringing Arrow's Sophomore year to a great season, and is certainly the best of the series so far.

Anyone who knows the TV Show Arrow knows that the show rocks! Season 2 is a fantastic season to own, the season pretty much picks up months after the attack happened from the 1st season but this season is awesome because it brings an actual intro to the hero Arsenal and brings a fantastic plot that includes the deadly Deathstroke! I would recommend this to anyone who loves Superhero TV Shows.

I've overlooked this series when it first aired on TV but recently decided to give it a try because it ties into series The Flash and love it just as much, especially Season 2. It has a darker tone than Flash but the writing, plot, and production value are all first rate. Very nice adaption of the DC comics character and will definitely be following on this fantastic series!

Arrow is an excellent representation of DC Comics Green Arrow. Stephen Amell is a great fit for the roll and you end up loving all the characters, good and bad. I think the CW has hit another home run with this DC super hero show. The first season was awesome and it only continues to get better. A fan of comics or great tv shows should find the time to watch this. Go out a get it.

The second season to the "Arrow" television show was entertaining. It starts off where the 1st season finale ended, covering Oliver's mom's admission to her part in the destruction of the Glades. Then, there is also the introduction of several new characters, but none is more exciting than the introduction of Deathstroke, and the Suicide Squad.

I've never been a Green Arrow fan, but this show has changed that. Season 1 had me hooked within the first five minutes of the pilot, and season 2 continued the momentum. The Deathstroke storyline was great, and the introduction of Barry Allen to spin off into "The Flash" was a highlight of the season. Great show!

After watching a season one that was good but could be considered a show in the vein of Smallville, season two really hits the mark. Oliver deals with not only inner battles but external forces that are out to destroy him and everything be represents. Despite some female characterization (except for Felicity who is always great) that borders on the annoying at times, the shows balances a lot of hard hitting topics that makes it hard to write off as just a other teen CW show. Also first appearance of Barry Allen (AKA the Flash) is a must see TV moment!

After an amazing first season, Arrow lost no momentum in its second season. The introduction of a few new characters led to more stunning fight scenes and moments. Overall, a great season that continued the development of the Green Arrow while introducing several key players.

Ever since I heard that there was going to be a Green Arrow show, I've always been exited to see the next episode and then even the next. The discs run as a "marathon mode" so they will keep playing without you having to select the next episode! It's awesome!
