This tribute CD is a great way to introduce a young person to McCartney's music and will encourage them to check out the original versions.

very diverse styles of voices for a unique great artist. Really like Jamie Cullum's jazzy track and the "live & let die" near to the original. Not a fan of the "Yesterday" very laid back. A few songs lack of personnality but most of the 2 CDs are worth it if you like Mc Cartney's classics.

Probably not for the non-McCartney fan, all in all a good effort.

Thirty-six songs, covered by a broad variety of artists, provide a good overview of the song writing talent of Paul McCartney.

This CD is very good musically, though too much like the Mac originals. I bought for the Cheap Trick tune which is good and there are a few others that have some originality. Too costly for what it is!

There are a couple of standout tracks, but I was expecting a lot more for two discs. The big problem is the overuse of McCartney's backup band make this more or less a karaoke album. I imagine that the back recorded a bunch of instrumentals and all the big names just came in and sang over the backing tracks. There is little interpretation or artist personality here. Out of 26 songs, I could listen to maybe 4 again.

Great artists singing McCartney hits. All recordings are studio not live tracks. This album contains Beatles songs and Wings songs, and even one Paul wrote for Badfinger.
