Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maya Arulpragasam is M.I.A., and she's also the Queen of Baile Funk. I'll admit, I didn't know what baile funk even was before hearing "Arular" for the first time. But that's only because there were no good baile funk artists before Maya stepped up to the plate. I could go on and on about why the CD is great, but why do that when all you have to do is listen? Give it a try, I guarantee it will be spinning in your CD player years from now. It is required listening for anyone looking to hear original music for a change.
