I was expecting much much more out of this especially for the hype and price

Not as easy as they advertise it to be. If I had known that ahead of time, I probably would not have purchased it.

The Instyler is a good hair implement. It straightens the hair extremely well. It took some time to get used to but it works well. The iron gets very hot so you must use caution. The Instyler came with a special mat that should be used to prevent surface burns.

I bought the Instyler for my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves this! My daughter has long thick hair and she has finally found something that will work on her hair. I saw this advertised on TV and was very skeptical about it really working the way it's shown on TV, you know it always seem to good to be true. Well, this product works the way it is shown on TV and my daughter is so happy with her hair now. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for my daughter, she has ethnic hair. Her hair does not get stiff or greasy, like flat irons. Because you do not have to use product to make this work. We use it all the time. It is wonderfull!!

I bought the Instyler after seeing how it "polishes" your hair and gives it a healthy bounce. What a disappointment! My hair is long, fine, but very shiny and healthy. I used the Instyler hoping for a little lift at the root, and what I've gotten after using it for several weeks is a bunch of broken hair at the root all over my scalp! As a result, all the hair around my scalp is now only about 1 inch long. I called the company to complain, and what they've said is that they "never heard of the Instyler breaking a customer's hair." Well if anyone there uses Google then they'd know that is a blatent lie. Furthermore, they refused to take any information about my complaint and refused to accept a return. What's most upsetting is not the $120 wasted, but the time it will take to regrow my destroyed hair from this product. After inspecting the unit, it appears that it is not the heat that broke my hair, but it is actually the rotating action with the nylon bristles that actually pull and snag the hair, resulting in severe damage and breakage near the root. If you value healthy, full hair, and good customer service, DO NOT BUY THE INSTYLER! You will be sorry like me!

It's hard to make her happy with these things. She's gone though several and returned them. She saw and read the reviews for this one, and so far loves it.

Sometimes I am on the go and my hair is a mess, with this product I am on the road in no time.

I purchased this item thinking it was the best thing ever. Once I got it and used it didnt like it at all. it takes toooooo long to to ge your hair straight. TV made it seem so easy, but is not! I have 3 kids and thought I have found something to cut my hairdrying in half because thats what they say when they are promoting this thing. It really dissapointed me, and for the money you would think it will be the greatest thing ever. I am very dissapointed. I return it as 2 days later.
