Best Buy has the best Blu-rays when it comes to the Steelbook editions. I try to get them immediately cause they sell out fast.

The Evil dead Franchise holds a special place in my heart(including army of darkness) so when I saw that there was a TV series going on premium cable I had to watch and I can say with certainty that it did not disappoint. It was funny and scary like the movies of old that it is based on. it totally follows the story somewhat anyways since there is no real mention of the army of darkness movie plot but I would totally recommend you watch this. Plus it has Bruce Campbell... the original ASH. I love that they did not try to recast him. it just would not have been the same. Supporting cast is also great!

Bruce Campbell has been a creative inspiration to me since I was in high school, between his work on the Evil Dead movies, his books, Brisco County Jr., Xena, My Name is Bruce, and Burn Notice, his work has given me enormous enjoyment. Ash vs. Evil Dead is the quintessential Bruce Campbell series - slapstick humor, sharp comedy, kinetic action, and great acting. The supporting cast (Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago) are perfect, and it's always awesome to see Lucy Lawless in an action role. I love this show, and I'm excited I managed to snag one of these special editions on release day.

I would give this series more than 5 stars if I could, I binge watched it in two days and hope that there are many more episodes to come. I have always been a fan of the evil dead trilogy and the humor of bruce campbell as Ash is just classic. Over the top gore as per the movies and great special effects in general for a tv series. Supporting cast is excellent as is the storyline and I can't wait for the new season to start soon.

I really enjoy this show! I'm a big evil dead fan and I loved the show! Felt it was a very well made production and the story is great! It definitely helps feed my love for Evil Dead. I also love this Metalpak case. The chainsaw on the outside looks great along with the group photo on the inside of the case. Though i did feel the price was a little high, but I still love it none the less!

Was lucky enough to get one of these metalpaks by being there at opening. The show speaks for itself, a great continuation of the movie series with gore, one-liners and all the fixings. Highly recommend the metalpak if you can get one for a reasonable price (secondary prices on ebay and amazon are insane already). Still recommend the show if you can only find the standard version.

I would highly recommend picking up this version of season one of Ash vs. Evil Dead over the standard bluray version. It's definitely worth a little more dollars and it's a collectors item. Specifically for all those die hard fans out there. It was a nice edition to my horror collection. I always recommend doing store pick up in advance for theses kind of special editions because they sell out fast. Luckly for me I didn't even know Best Buy had a metal pack. When I got to the store people were already grabbing their copies. There was only one more left that someone had grabbed and they put it back and grabbed it right after. I wasn't so lucky when the mad max fury road steelbook came out same for the Ant Man one. So always think ahead and order it on the side.

Me personally I loved this series. It has over the top gore that is so unbelievable you will laugh. Love Bruce he is so silly and yet always comes out on top. Follows right along with the movies, stupid, silly, laughable. There was one episode where they killed off a person I liked and that was disappointing but otherwise great series. Love the collectible tin.

Not a fan of horror/comedy, but Sam Raimi and gang know how to do it right. The show continues the tone of parts 2 and 3 of the film series and takes it another step. Bruce Campbell is joined by two young leads and they are all wonderful. The effects are extreme and kept practical. Episodes are short but compact, to the point and jam packed. highly recommended.

This show is great. It's everything you would want from an Evil Dead tv show. It has all of the charm of the original movies, but with some all-new faces. The steel book is awesome. The only complaint i have is that the total run time is short since each of the 10 episodes is only 30 minutes in length. It leaves you wanting more. Which isn't a bad thing.

This was a pleasant surprise! It's been a long time since we've seen Ash on screen and despite the undeniable cool factor and anticipation, this could have been a let down. Thankfully, it's not. It's a total love letter to the fans and really delivers that perfect balance of downright darkness with lighthearted humor that Evil Dead II delivered.

First off, the series is true Evil Dead fashion, with Ash reluctantly leading the charge against the demons from his "poetry" book. Love the look & style of the show. All 10 episodes are stellar, with a refreshing, unexpected season finale (no spoilers). Now as for the Best Buy exclusive Blu-ray metal packaging, it to is "groovy".

If you like the original Evil Dead movies for their gore and campiness, then you will love the series! Bruce Campbell is back as Ashley Williams and better (older) than ever! With his 2 handy sidekicks both helping and hindering him along the way you are sure to have your ash kicked in these jam packed 30 minute episodes!

A hillarious show that does the movie Justice, great humor, great characters and more blood to satisfy any horror fan's thirst. I'm so happy I grabbed the steelbook when I did, it's sad that Best Buy doesn't produce more of these but minor detail. Any Evil Dead fan needs to get their hands on this show right now.

I have been an evil dead fan since i saw this movie as a kid. Knowing a series was coming out i was very ecstatic. The story is a typical Ash reading out of the book being stupid as usual. Having to find a way to seal the demons again, he has to go on a quest to seal the book for good.

As a fan of the films, I was very excited for the return of Ash to the screen, even if it meant the small screen. However, I was slightly worried after the first episode aired. While I'm well aware that Ash was always meant to be a bit of an every man as well as a bit of an idio, I felt that they took "idiot" a bit too far. Fortunately as the season played out, the character leveled out closer to the Army of Darkness portrayal and grew more enjoyable as the season went on. Very much looking forward to seasons two and three!

Come on it's Ash versus the Evil Dead with the roominess of a continuous story telling via serial television! The evil minions try to kick Ash, but they can't really...you get my drift. Very nice cast makes this crank along horrifically...in a good way.

This show presents the style of Sam Raimi well. This reminds me alot of Evil Dead 2 due to the flashbacks in the series. Lots of practical effects with a little CGI. If you are a fan this is a must watch! I can't wait for Season 2 this October on Starz.
