When I saw the youtube page for brotherhood, I was amazed; the first one was great when it came out then AC2 put it to shame, if brotherhood can do the same to AC2 it WILL BE the game of the year even as the third one made. One thing lacking in this game is challenge, some parts are extremely hard but most are just to easy, but everything keeps you on the edge of your seat, I've know these to be the best Series of video games ever (COD fans don't be offended) and I have very high expectations for this.

I bought Assassin's Creed 2 last year for my PS3 and played it until I got 100% and I'm going to try it with Brotherhood.
The feathers in the second one were rather annoying so I'm glad they've turned it into flags (which are much easier to spot than feathers). The fighting difficulty is about the same, but they have much improved upon the finishing moves of Ezio and the "Strike-First" technique is really good for taking out several enemies within seconds.
Another feature in Brotherhood is the territories that the Borgia control. Which creates another hazard for the player because its a "restricted area" and you can spend time destroying their towers and refurbishing shops that were once under Borgia control (increasing your income, much like the Villa did in AC2).
The free-running is less glitchy this time around so a whole lot more fun.
Multi-player is surprisingly fun I thought it would be weird just because most people are use to the FPS online games (Modern Warfare, Battlefield, etc..) but I played it for a couple of hours and its just really fun and entertaining to run around and trying to assassinate other people while at the same time watching out for those looking for you.
All in all 5 Stars for a great third game in the Assassin's Creed series, definitely worth the money, if you liked the second one you'll love this one!

this game looks sick! the POV is similar to god of war w/ a little classic assassin's creed over the shoulder gameplay at times. there seems to be a lot more to do but all of the same characters, guards, and cities are still present. There is new moves, the guards have guns more assassin's to fight along side with and you get to see more of Rome. This game is going to be epic and nothing like COD5 compared to the original series of modern warfare.

The creators of Ubisoft were very smart to continue Ezio's story. Not only is this game amazing, it's polished. Everything in the game is refined and if you like Assassins Creed 2, you're going to love Brotherhood. The story is flawless and the multiplayer is unique. All I can say is that you won't regret buying this game!

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

From what I have read about the follow up to last year's Assassin's Creed II, the triumphant return of Ezio Auditore di Firenze will be nothing short of spectacular. By keeping everything that has been successful from the first two titles and adding new features--including a multiplayer area--Brotherhood will be the title to own this holiday season. From the screencaptures that have already been released, Ubisoft is not sacrificing any of the visual elements that made the first games amazing, and in keeping the storyline within the walls of Rome (and also the immediate surrounding lands), the visual design team will be able to craft up a Rome that looks lifelike. The storyline seems interesting as well. This is going to be a must for any action/adventure fan!

Assassins Creed Brotherhood is the third installment in the Assassins Creed video game series and is fantastic. You play an assassin in Rome in the 1500s and use sneakiness and weaponry to defeat your enemies. This game has a vast, large game world with a rich story line and many optional sub plots. The game is a great deal of fun and I find myself really getting into the game and enjoying myself.

Brotherhood's single player story is amazing. The addition of having other assassins to aid you is one the best things they could of done. Now the multiplayer mode, frankly I am disappointed deeply with this. The match making process is horrible, it takes upwards of 10 minutes to find a match. The first time I played (or not played) online, I waited 30 minutes for a match before shutting it off in disgust.

Some have called this game, AC 2.5, others call it Brotherhood, but to me, this game is called AWESOME. I loved the first Creed, and then the second was even better. Along comes Brotherhood and it just blows me away again. Highlights...YOU CAN RIDE YOUR HORSE IN TOWN... and much more. However, Im gonna keep this short. I played for three days straight around Thanksgiving with my younger brother. Probably totaling around 22 hours, and we are still only 55-60% through the game. Do yourself a favor, get a copy for yourself today.

The third installment to the Assassins Creed franchise provides a great multiplayer experience as well as a enthralling single player story mode. Highly recommend the game but suggest you play the previous two games (Assassins Creed 1 &2) in order to understand what's going on in this one.

This game is amazing. Having never played AC 1 and getting my start with the second game, I was addicted in no time. Now with this game i cant even get started on the 1 player game because I'm so stuck on the multiplayer action. This game is on the level of the Uncharted series for me. Very few games offer the amount of gameplay that this title has

A good game overall, the storyline isn't as strong in this one as in AC 1 & 2 but still offers a lot to do. If you follow the Assassin's Creed games this game is a must as you will be left out of the storyline without it. The main draw to this game though is the online mode, it offers something completely new from first person shooters, works very well and is a lot of fun to play.

It is a great game. No doubt. I've certainly spent money on a lot worse. But, the bottome line is that there simply isn't enough "new" in this game to warrant it being a true sequel to AC 2. It's a lot more of the same in my opinion and in many ways a lot less. I got somehow "locked" into the story line and was not able to go back to free play... very frustrating. The story itself is a lot shorter and you get a lot less out of it. The world has incredible graphics. Very impressive. But this game lacks the sparkle I was enticed with from AC@.

In the beginning, especially areas you aren't in long, the graphics are a bit lacking. But when you get a bit further into it they get much better. There is screen tearing.. and there shouldn't be with my tv...
The combat system is fun, but a bit too easy. You shouldn't be able to take out 15 guards that are all surrounding you easily.. and there aren't difficulty settings. There are tons of missions, things to collect, etc.
My biggest complaint is movement. It's based on camera angle, not your characters, and there is an auto-follow that can't be turned off. It's not so bad most of the time, just have to wait a second for it to catch up, but on timed missions you'll want to drive a pickaxe through the game designers' skulls. Jumping to your death because the camera moved at the last second is not fun at all.

Great sequel to Assassin's creed 2. A bit short on the story line for ezio, but you also get to have some time outside of the animus. The multiplayer is addicting and will double the time you spend playing this game!

Brotherhood does not really add anything new to the series. The story is short and gives the impression that it was designed in less than a few hours. There are a few additional weapons added such as the crossbow and machine gun, but by and large this is filler. A few additional cinematic scenes and added combat sequences also increase the game play value.
The game is still good for passing time by assassinating everyone and anyone.
