I have played a lot of games in my day. It is difficult to fit on all the bases. In most cases the graphics in games are great but it is the same thing over and over. Or the story in a game is great but the graphics are not up to snuff. This game has it all. I had played the first one, but not all the way thorough, after playing this and beating it, I bought the first game and expect it to be delivered in the next day or two.

Being a fan of Assassins Creed, I was naturally excited for Assassins Creed II. But what I received was a lot more than I bargained for. I have yet to finish the game but the storyline but the story so far is so interesting that the controller is hard to put down! The upgraded arsenal, the ability to upgrade your own town, the Armour upgrades, the Assassins tombs, bridges from Assassins Creed I, the tie in from Adam & Eve and so on and so forth. Great game, more than worth the price.

this game is very excting. it starts slow but then it picks up with the action. the only negative is all of the videos.

This game is a must buy if you liked the first game. It is exciting and fun, really good storyline, great characters, and a lot more weapons then the first. The graphics werent as good as i excepted them to be. its detaied but to me the screens seems to tear and rip when you start to run and get out of a cut scene.

i picked this up day one and played for 6+7 hrs straight. lots of trophies that don't seem to hard to get. i didn't get the first installment of the series for i didn't know about it til 3 months ago prior to the new release. mainly due to me just getting a ps3. reading reviews and comments i decided to go straight to the new installment. game is a blast. storyline is great. i didn't expect the story to flow into the character like it did. nice job. graphics are awesome. so far game play is sweet. i haven't run into any glitches or difficult spots other than roof top races,lol. took me a little bit of time to get use to the gameplay since i didn't play ASI but i am getting there. there is an exclusive code for a map that comes with the game when bought from best buy. not sure is all stores have the same thing going on. each code is specific to that particular bought copy. so no sharing guys,lol. overall i am thrilled to have this game in my inventory. i couldn't wait til the 17th. i waiting for weeks for this game along with GOW 1&2.

All I can say is, AMAZING. Play as Ezio, a master assassin, go for stealth kills, or charge straight in and kill everybody. While this game lacks a difficulty setting, and is pretty easy when you have the dynamics down, it has a great storyline and control settings. The weapon base has expanded greatly in this release, you can get weapons off of your enemies, and even buy weapons and ammo at shops. If you have not played and beaten the first game, I recommend you do that first, while it may not have trophies, or some of the expanded abilities and weapons this title has, it has a great storyline.

This is a great game for all players! This is the sequal to the very first Assassin's Creed, which was a good game. This game had major improvements, reducing repetitiveness and introducing a whole new storyline. You play as Ezio Auditore, an Italian living in late 1400's Italy. Your family is betrayed by Templars, which forces you to take on the cloak and become an assassin. However, outside of the Animus, you are learning from your memories how to fight against "today's" Templars. Though the usual is "You had to play the first game". Well yes and no. At the beginning, the game doesn't really review exactly what all happened. Much of the information from the other game isn't required though, because you get a whole new start. There is so much more to the game, however it is much more fun to learn about the game by actually playing it. I highly recommend purchasing this game for the PS3

After the refreshing uniqueness of Assassin's Creed I, I was really looking forward to the release of the second installment. I was not disappointed!! From the setting in 15th century Italy, to the breathtaking graphics, this game grabs you from the beginning and never lets go. Even after beating the game, you are left breathlessly anticipating the third and final installment. I also love that they seem to be tying in the game with the social phenomenon surrounding 2012. According to the ancient Mayans, the world will experience something extraordinary on Dec. 21, 2012. Some say it's the end of the world, and that seems to be the direction the game is headed towards. It looks like Desmond will have the fate of the Earth resting on his shoulders when the final Assassin's Creed hits stores!!!

AC2 was the best game I've ever played. Graphics are great, story, and length of the cities. Go and buy it.

Ok hopefully you have all played the first one. This one is et into renaissance Italy and features more weapons, locations and abilities such as swimming. Now the great staff of game informer magazine has told us that the characters have also been changed too. Theres Davinci! ?He creates weapons and machines for the new character to test out on his enemies. Now game informer said that the creators did a good job of not changing just the way assassins creed feels. you know, what we all fell in love with, the freedom, scaling buildings jumping from roof top to roof top. This game is going to be one intense action packed game!

I first started to rent this game and I got hocked on it the second it started. This game has such great graphics and what an awesome gameplay. the gameplay is the best I've seen so far, and I love how you can go to city to city without taking too long. This is a must have game to have hands down.

Overall this is a great quality game. Loading times kind of throw the story line off a bit because it takes a while but the map is very large so I might be being a bit picky. The controls and gameplay mechanics are very good. With all of the items you can collect in this game, they did a very good job of simplifying the way you select your items

If you think that the first one is better, you are going to love the second. The game takes you throught the life of the assassin. The one thing that I like about it is that they have incorporated the first game throughout the second. the graphics are ridiculously awsome. If you do not have the strategy guide then you will be lost and will find yourself being very discouraged and probably stop playing. I would reccomend this game especially if you like action adventure and histroy. WHat more can I say go get this game it is worth every penny you will spend.

I really enjoyed this game, a lot more than the first. I played absolutely every aspect of the game (all side missions, main missions, and trophies) which takes a lot more than 12 hours as mentioned earlier. My only complaints where square movement, preprogrammed camera angles on certain sequences, and lag in the changing of contextual button controls). If you play the game you will know what I am talking about, contextual buttons change what their action is based on what the character is doing or what item he has equiped. This game has a lot of contextaul controls which adds to the versatility of character control despite the limited amount of buttons on your controller. The Assassins Creed storyline is great, assassinating guards never gets old, especially from the air or stealth. Play the game, it is worth the money. By the guide if you want to tackle all the side missions like obtaining the feathers, there is a hundred in the game!

The story, graphics, characters, challenges, and length so far have exceeded my expectations.

First off, I need to say I DID NOT play the first game. After finishing the story mode in Assassin's Creed 2 I am very inclined to purchase the first. Game is fast, fun, and intelligent. I spent hours running around treasure hunting, jumping off viewpoints, but the most fun is when you assassinate some unknowing patrol from a ledge 20 feet above... Two for one's are great! Go out and buy it.

I've played many games in my life, but few have captivated me as much as Assassin's Creed II has. I bought my copy of ACII in the spring of 2011, and I am still finding myself immersed in this game to this day. Whether it be listening to the soothing score that Jesper Kyd has composed with soundtracks such as "Ezio's Family", "Tour of Venice", or "Salvation of Forli" or to just roam the streets of Venice or Florence, I am still playing this game. Without spoiling too much, ACII puts you in the shoes of Ezio Auditore as you try to seek revenge against those who ave conspired against you and your family. In the process of doing this though, you start to unravel the truth about the conspiracy, and it is your job to not only make sense of it, but also end it. Assassin's Creed II is much more thn just a game, it's an experience. If you have waited this long to pick this game up, wait no longer and purchase it. It literally is my favorite game of all time.

This was the first game that I bought for the hubs for his new PS3 and he LOVES it. He even thanked me for buying it because he is so into it. The graphics and story are great. I usually get sucked into watching him play because the game is very cool. By far this is his favorite game.

Assassin's creed 2 is a really fun game. It is a long game, and takes about 15-18 hours to beat. It is one of the best games i've ever played.

The graphics and the movement are amazing, the historical rendering of Italia is beautiful. But i find the story to be slow and uninteresting. I spend most of my time free running and doing what i want, rather than following the story. It helps in the end though when you get back to the story and have already opened the entire map.
