We dive into a great time period. I think its the 14th century. I found myself enjoying the characters, environment and the game all together. There are new features this time around. We have night and day. The fighting is alot better to handle this time around. I'm excited about this one, can't wait to check out the DLC.

This game rocks!! I haven't stopped playing since the day I got it. It's much improved from the first Assassins Creed. I highly recommend the game. It non-stop gaming action with a very good storyline.

Great Game, Big improvement on an already awesome game. I would like to see them top themselves with "Brotherhood".

i bought assassins creed about a week ago with high expectations, at first it was really good but it got boring very fast because it was far too easy, i beat the game with about 12 hours of gameplay and that was including ALL the upgrades and some of the collectables so i was dissapointed with that. the storyline was great but the ending made no sense. id recommend this when its a greatest hit

The fact that we have all played the first game and loved it is true... And this game has huge excitement over it. If anyone dislikes this game when it comes out, the have no life whatsoever, and do not know true gaming. The first Assassins Creed was an amazing game with an open environment where you can do anything, and even when the game is finished, the excitement lives on! I trust in my heart that the next Assassins Creed will be even better with the fact that Davinci is introduced and helps the character along. I am a passionate gamer when it comes to this game, and I will most definitely enjoy this game, and so should everyone else.

I absolutely loved this game: the AI is fantastic, sensitive and challenging. The attention to detail in terms of historical accuracy is fantastic compared to most video games (absurd Templar-conspiracy storyline aside). And the challenges are varied enough to keep me interested throughout (puzzles, complicated movement sequences and races, flat-out brawling, etc). Can't wait to get the next in the series.

FN AWESOME. I am in iraq and haven't been to work in 3 days because of this game I couldn't keep my eyes off it. I think I might still be in the animus now!

The only negative thing I would say is that the graphics are not quite what they could have been but given the level of detail in the scenery I can't say I'm surprised or disappointed. The pace of the game seems just right for the storyline, it really lets you get to know Ezio before thrusting him into action. Enemy AI has been improved greatly so they'll actually check if you're in a bail of hay they saw you jump in to. The side quests are numerous and varied this time and the Prince of Persia-esque puzzles are a lot of fun. Overall definitely worth the buy.

Unlike the other first five reviews on here, written from 'people' before the game was even out, I have played the game and experienced it and am not as fond of it as the first one. For example, the beginning is very slow and boring. It takes a LONG time to pick up. Also, the graphics are not great at all. The scenery is great, don't get me wrong. When you are up on the eagle's perch and can look out across the city it is awesome, just like in the first one. But the close-ups of people are pitiful. Graphics aside, I just can't get over how boring the beginning was. And I'm not talking just about the very beginning, when you are in the 'present'. I'm talking about even when you get to the 'past'. It took so long to pick up that I nearly gave up, and probably would have if it wasn't for the $60 I paid. Everything seems very repetitive.

The game was long, but fun. It definitely held my attention and enabled you to progress in skills and the game progressed. The ending on this one definitely threw me for a loop. It really had nothing to do with the rest of the game.

Great continuation to the first one, innovative story line. Controller/controlling character is a great fit for me.

My mom got me Assassin's Creed for PS3 thinking it would be just another interesting game. It was so much more!! This game was so much fun to delve into. The storyline is so thrilling and it gets you hooked with every scene you watch so you have to keep playing!! I would like it if it had a multiplayer mode, but the storyline is enough to sustain my interest in this game. I am going to preorder my copy and am going to the midnight release for it! I can't wait to see how the storyline continues!!

This game is the best. The graphics are great and it is just one of the best game.
