This happens to be one of my favorite Assassin's Creed games PERIOD! Mostly because it's like the older games, unlike Origins and Odyssey which have since gone the RPG route. I actually bought the season pass for Odyssey, which includes this as a bonus for owners, (worth every penny) Love the artwork, was hoping multiplayer would have returned but no, just 3 and Liberation plus all of the bonus content. I even bought the special edition from Europe. Hoping Assassin's Creed 1 gets a remaster next!

I have not played my copy yet, but I have installed it. Too busy playing through the Ezio collection right now. I lent it to a friend though, got to see it in action that way. I played the original on the PlayStation 3 a while back, and did enjoy it despite the issues that everyone complained about at the time. I never finished the game back then, so when I do play it, I will get a chance to play through the entire of it in this remastered form. I never was unlucky enough to deal with bugs, but I did mostly agree that the writing was “meh” and some story choices were odd. I will say they did liven up the lighting, which is a double edged sword. Lighting on characters faces makes them look a little bit artificial. But the lighting on the vast surrounding area does look much better than it used to in the original game. I can’t speak on mechanic tweaks that have changed since I have not played through it yet myself. I would just let people understand that it’s going to have the same inherent flaws that the original game had, as well as the bugs being relatively the same from what I have heard. I have not yet seen any bugs occur watching my friend play, just like with the original one. Will update my review once I play through the game myself. For now, though, I can say it is somewhat better than the original, but in someways, not quite as much of an upgrade as it could’ve been (ie lighting effect on faces). It does include liberation and all the AC three DLC, which is a huge plus since I never got around to either of those the first time around. And I think if you can find it at a good price ($20 right now) it’s worth it if you don’t totally abhor the divisive choices this developers took with this game

I love Assassins Creed III remastered,especially the introduction to Naval battle.But I’m a big history fan, it’s nice to learn a little about the Era as your Assassinating templars

So I know this game was a PS3 game so I expected some last-gen things, but this game has little of that. I'd say it's on par with any of the PS4 AC games, except for the fact that this game is so slow. The first big chunk of game is an extended prelude and THEN you have another prelude/tutorial. I'm not a huge fan of it so far, but definitely worth the price and the story is pretty good.

I have been waiting for this a long time. Great details and enhanced graphics all around. Relive the birth of America and have fun doing it!

It’s exactly how I remember the game six years ago. I love the storyline and graphics are extraordinary. The timeline is awesome and the characters are epic. Overall, a perfect game of this series.

I played the original and was very excited when I saw this remastered for the PS4! Graphics look great and the game play feels smoother than before. I am very happy with how they upgraded this game and I love revisiting 1776 Boston and New York!

Fun game with good graphics and story line. Worth the money.

This has to be the worst remake I have ever played. This being a game I almost played to completion in the original. I can say that they didn't fix any of the small problems, like jump accuracy or double shooting, and with their treating of map textures exponentially leads to larger problems. For instance phantom rocks that existed in the first game but were not coded out for their retextured counterparts making your horse, or player stick to certain part of the free roam areas during timed missions or simply avoiding a wolf attack. I can say that the texturing of this 8 year old game should be better as well. But the part of the remake that really gets me right now is the assault of bunker hill level. The retexturing is causing my assassin to randomly climb up the ship or jump on it where there again was no viable handholds that probably existed in the original but not coded out, making him pop up in a stealth mission, thus making you have to restart in order to get fully synched (best outcome) or simply falling off randomly when a cannon shot happens or better yet an AI that seems to hear a pin drop when you do air assassination's as another requirement, during of all things a cannon volley. That being said it has a lot of value bringing the season pass I have yet to play and another coinciding title that again haven't played. I just wish I wasn't stuck for the past two hours trying to kill the same ten or so people because the level redesigns are hindering the game that much.

Been a assassin’s creed fan for a while and this game kicks butt. Graphics are better and it is fun to play. Look forward to more remastered games.

Bought this to play on ps4, played it on ps3. One of the best AC games in my opinion. The remaster is quite nice.

Excellent game, great storyline and graphics plus it was only $20

Can’t wait to go deeper into the assassins creed story. Started with number 3. Long way to go. So far so good

I love the hole series of Assassin's Creed. This one take you back to the p pioneer days in the frontier during the revolution in civil wars so I'm particularly love it cuz it brings us home.

A lot of people disliked ACIII when it released in 2012, but I always thought it was underrated. This the same game with prettier visuals and some gameplay tweaks, so if you liked it then, you'll like it now. If not, the remaster likely won't change your opinion.

Great remastered game I played previous game with lots of problems but new version I’m totally enjoyed.

She loves assassin's creed and this one was her fave.... Got her the remastered with her ps5. Shes waiting on mirage.

Even better the second time!! The new graphics and enhanced play for the PS4 is excellent! This series is by far one of the best I have played and always looking for the next, none have disappointed me so far!

Yet another amazing game from Assassin's Creed. Fun, action packed, build your character, free roam every where and pretty much play how you want. Great graphics & awesome game play. Can't stop playing once you start
