I think this is a good game. on Wii U is a bit weired tho.

Its another good assassins creed game. What more could you ask for?

Bought for a gift. Hopefully he will like it on the Wiiu.

The game is too hard to control, feels awkward. Got motion sick.

Basically had to watch an entire movie before the dang game started. And then the game wasn't even that great.

Assasins Creed 3 on the WiiU launched with several problems. The game was highly unstable, and lacked practically all the extra content and features from the last gen version (released well before the WiiU version). Assasins Creed 4 released the same time as current gen versions, but sadly all the same problems are here mostly. All the single player disc based content is here. Gamepad is used mostly for an ingame map. The graphics in the game are of higher quality than the PS3 port. Wolfpack coop is here, as well as the adversarial coop and player customization. Sadly thats about all that is positive about this mediocre port. While texture quality is better than PS3, its still on par with the ones from the xbox 360 port. The frame rate here on the WiiU is abysmal at times, and dips well into the 20's, possibly the teens when its really bad (usually in multiplayer for some reason). Freedom Cry DLC released to all the other versions is nowhere to be found, and map packs for multiplayer are non-existant (which makes for very small player pool on the WiiU version). Its hard to recommend this version of the game, when the xbox 360 version goes for around the same discounted price nowadays. If anything, rent this title to play the excellent campaign, and buy the various other ports.

Assassin's Creed IV is a great game and a good entry into the Assassin's Creed series, but if at all possible, play this on another platform. The game makes poor use of the Game Pad and suffers from stuttering and frame-rate drops. Also, there is no DLC (if that is important to you).

If you like the AC series you would be remiss to play this one, as it is the best in the entire series. The water physics are fantastic creating a wonderful sailing experience topped with hearing your crew sing some (very catchy I might add) Shanties. On top of this with the weather effects, it just creates an amazing experience. While you can fast travel to locations you almost don't want too because of how fun sailing can be, especially with the ship battles. The ship battles are fantastic and enjoyable from small ships to man of wars, the ability to upgrade you ship to combat the harder varieties on the seas, as you fight your wanted level goes up, as it reaches set points other pirates hunt you down which sometimes can create some problematic scenario's for you. Visuals are amazing, as I stand by the WiiU having the 2nd best version of the game (behind PS4 and XBONE). You will see many locales that make you just want to stop and stare for a few minutes before moving on. Content wise, there is a ton to do from hunting legendary ships, collectables spread across an enormous map, assassin contracts, assassin mission, etc... the list goes on, their is a plethora of content in this game, SADLY there is no DLC so you will not be playing any of that... which from what I hear from reviews of Freedom's Call... isn't really a bad thing yet. Haven't played the multiplayer yet so I can't review that at this time.

it was good graphics and audio, but the action was was not that good

I really didn't like AC3 at all. In fact, I disliked it so much, I swore to never buy an AC game again. However, I gave AC4 a chance, and I'm so glad I did. Huge world to explore, the combat is fluid and the game is just lots of fun.

I am 27 and don't understand why the game companies think they need to include junk in their well designed, good story, artistic games. I mean seriously I if AC had 0 swearing and innuendos but kept every thing else the same. Would people be saying. "Hum good game but not enough s*x and f bombs!"? With that said this review is for parents. This game is not for those below 15 at least. Great fun game however with in the first couple opening dialogues you hear the f bomb about 3 times. This is not the main focus compared to other M games. However M content is limited compared to others and is still a great game and fun too.

The story is good but nothing mind-blowing. The gameplay is the same as every other Creed. At sales price, this game will definitely be worth it.

Playing through this storyline was a lot of fun. It was my first Assassin's Creed game, so I do not know how well it compares or ranks in the series. I would recommend it, though!

Not many games are out for the Wii U but this a must have if you play the Wii U
