I just recently started playing this and really have enjoyed although I have only gotten through 16%. I'm stuck at a difficult part and have tried getting past it about 50 times and it's driving me nuts! But that is the fun and challenging part of the game that makes it great.

My review of this game is that it is okay, I really didn't feel like this game was all that fun. It gets repetitive and there is a lot of sailing on the ship which I didn't find fun either. This is just another assassins creed you already know what to expect and it'll be the same game again next year I'm sure.

Always been a fan of the franchise and this one took me on a great adventure!

It looks like this game was made just so Ubisoft can make more money off of the ship mechanics in AC3 which was arguably the best part of that game. Combat and land based mechanics are basically the same as the previous game, although they did need changing and improving. The game engine is the same as it was in the third title, with very little improvement, or change, when it, again needed it. And all of this would not be a problem if the game offered a good story, but it doesn't. The story seems like an excuse to sell an adapted version of AC3, and the story is driven by the game mechanics, and not vice versa. Luckily the beautiful setting, graphics and excellent pirate game save the game and prop up the rating. You can't help but feel, if they only spent a little bit more time, and wouldn't pump out a game every year, it could've been an amazing game.

This game is one of my all time favorites. The game play with the ship is awesome and you still have a lot of the same game play when on land too. Side missions are also fun and challenging.

The scenery is a bit more interesting than AC3 but not as good as the Ezio games. The gameplay is okay, but not enough truly Assassin style missions and too much emphasis is put on sea battles which are enjoyable, but not really what you expect and want from an Assassin's Creed game. It is pretty cool to have 4 guns in single player so you don't have to reload after every shot or two. The fact that you can aim the gun is good. The multiplayer kept the Wolfpack game mode from AC3, which I like because it gives people a chance to play a co-op multiplayer game. Regular multiplayer is what you expect and enjoy from previous AC games. Some of the new perks and abilities are kinda lame and they probably should have focused more on the tried and true abilities.Overall this game is pretty good. Not one of the best AC games, but still good.

Good game with great graphics. This is a series for serious gamers.
