I've always been a fan of the assassin's creed games and this one is no exception. Amazing graphics, fun gameplay, huge world to explore.

I bought this game with some other heavy hitters for black Friday but haven't even look at anything else since I started it. Nice open world RPG without loosing the essence of what an assassin creed game is supposed to be. Closest game to the witcher you will find.

Assassin’s Creed Origins has been arguably the best Assassin’s Creed game of the series. The combat overhaul and open world experience is something that provides a new and refreshing take on a classic series. I have not had this much fun playing an Assassin’s Creed game since the original. This is a must have for any gamer regardless of their opinion on past games in the franchise.

This game is immersive, really big map, intense story and side story lines. The game play is OK I wouldve expected more classic parkour moves from previous games but not bad at all. I finished it 100% in 6 days. Tha S how good it is... it had me glued.

    One of the Good Ones

I shouldn't enjoy this series, but I do. It's pumped out nearly every year, and almost all of them are the same. But with that said, sailing the seas in Black Flag and meeting the figures of the Italian Renaissance are some of my favorite moments in gaming, and I keep coming back to this series hoping for that same feeling. After the dull Unity and overrated Syndicate, I wasn't expecting anything out of this one. I didn't care much for the setting either--I knew Cleopatra and Ptolemy, but what other historical figures really mattered during this time period? Well, maybe it's because absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I love this game. The combat has seen a much needed overhaul, and it can actually get tricky at times. The setting is breathtaking as usual, and I want to know who at Ubisoft programs water effects because they are the best in the business. The story...eh, it's alright, but this series isn't really much more than an excuse to go on a history tour. Sidequests aren't much to write home about as they're usually either fetch quests or outpost infiltrations but they fill the gaps well enough. The main complaints I have are two things: holding the up button to "sense" treasure, and Layla Hassan. The treasure sense is annoying because guess what? You're gonna press that every five steps to make sure you get every treasure. Why didn't Ubisoft just highlight treasures instead of adding this annoying process on top? Either hide all treasures, or highlight all treasures, don't give us the in-between. Second, Layla Hassan is the most unlikeable person ever. She isn't tough, she's mean, arrogant and entitled. If a male character acted like her, I would hate them just as much. Everything in her backstory makes her out to be spoiled and obnoxious, but we're somehow supposed to identify with this awful person. Maybe it's a generational thing. Between the bland Desmond and the unlikeable Layla, I'll take Desmond. Unfortunately I'll have to continue seeing Layla's story unfold as I play Kassandra in the upcoming Odyssey. So to sum up, annoying modern character and minor gameplay annoyance aside, if you're a fan of the series, I would definitely recommend this game.

Probably the best ac game i have played since ac2. Graphics are amazing, story is enticing. Took all the good stuff from each game and left out the bad. Took some ideas from another game which i cant blame them for bc it makes the game better anyway

    The Creed Reinvented

I've played all of the AC games and the series has been going downhill since Black Flag, which was excellent. Origins is a reinvention of the franchise in terms of open world options and combat, and it's absolutely beautiful in 4k on the PS4 Pro.

If you like the Assassins Creed series, I highly recommend this new one! Gameplay has been uplifted. Don't worry, they kept all of the good stuff. Now you can craft, sell, purchase, salvage items, and the game is more open world than even before.

Great! Even For Those Not Into the A.C. Series.

This is the 1st of a few aRPGs in the A.C. series, so its where it all started in the RPG department. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the Assassin's Creed series, or a fan at all, for that matter, but seeing as this was the 1st RPG in the A.C. series, it got me curious to check it out, so I'm glad I followed my gut & grabbed this. Even for those not into the overly milked A.C. series, this (Origins), Odyssey, & Valhalla are the trilogy (so far) of the open world aRPGs of the series, & you may want to tamper with them all.

I took some time off playing any games from the franchise because I felt they were just cranking them out with little thought. I was intrigued by this story so I got the game and am not disappointed. The open-world is gorgeous and the story pulls you in very quickly. This game is a must for anyone who enjoyed any of the original Assassins Creed games.

The Assassin's Creed games have been going downhill for a while, I'm so glad to see they finally took the time to make an incredible game. Every part works so well, the graphics, story, gameplay, all done very well .

Surpasses, all previous editions. I purchased this as a Christmas present. From the graphics, to the storyline, this is the game you want to play. Already at level 24! Once you play it you will be hooked!

I have only played to just past the introduction, but so far, the game plays beautifully. I hope this means they took the extra time to minimize the bugs so prevalent in previous Assassin's Creed games.

There is so many pros so I'll skip it. I'll just write down few cons of the game 1)some knotice able frame drop during fight/fire. 2)game did adapt many elements from different top selling games such as (witcher3,horizon zerodawn, far cry and dark souls) they mashed these elements very nicely in my opinion, and triggered very welled. But the fact that they see similar game elements alone can be huge turn off to some people. (I suggest open up) Other than these 2 issues everything else in every other way has been improved to more modern standard trend. And works well for me. Very satisfied game for me. Few games holds me in couch for straight 6 hrs now days. And ac origin did it.

The Best Assassin's Creed game yet, many improvements were made since the last game. Parkour moves are more fluid, character movement is much faster, larger map and huge graphical improvement.

This game is a great revival of an otherwise stale series. Replaces the exciting at the beginning of the series counter attacks with brand new fluid combat. The story is top notch as well.

    Refreshing take on the franchise

The game is definitely an eye-catcher from the past few in the franchise. Unity was bugged beyond h*ll at launch and I skipped Syndicate simply because I was not a fan of 3 or Unity. This installment, however, is gorgeous, the new combat system is unique to the franchise and a nice change of pace. The graphics are great, the voice acting for every character, every side quest, extras, ambient noise, sound effects, hud, everything is detailed and well-presented. The developers did a wonderful job. Honestly, my only complaint thus far (I've logged just shy of 30 hours of play as of this review) is that the game is too large. The map takes forever to cross and while I love open world games this just seems too big. The viewpoints are very spaced out and although you only have to synchronize them once, I get bored hitting auto-run and then setting the controller down and finding something else to do for a few minutes...this happens all too often. Aside from that, the game is great.

The fighting mechanics are refreshing and I love how large the map is. Open world to explore with a camel or horse is fun. Definitely enjoying the level ups and paths for my character!
