Great product. It was easy to install on my ps5. Now I’m able to hear the game and chat with my friends with my Astro a50

This was the solution I was looking for. It essentially adds the optical port back to the PS5/Xbox Series consoles. It perfectly enables me to stream and capture audio while also allowing me to use headphones with out any lag. Absolute perfection.

Easy to use. Small enough to not get in the way of anything. I only wished that Astro did not require this device for PS5

work good for what it is design for but if you are a streamer and you use an elgato it going to interfere with the capture card and mess it up. but if you are not a streamer than this is a great produce for the gaming sound in your ear.

Massive upgrade in terms of sound quality. I came from a PS4 pro which had optical audio already, So i plugged in my PS5 to be terribly surprised with the audio on my A50s. Must buy for astro game headphone users on PS5.

This product worked perfect for my Astro A50 with the Mix amp to my PlayStation 5! Could not ask for a better product!

The first I purchased was defective but the second got the job done. It’s highly recommended if you’re trying to run the a40 with the PS5. The wires might get overwhelming if you don’t organize them right but you’ll be good with it.

The product works as advertise, but it really hurts that it is only HDMI 2.0 instead of 2.1. I understand they wanted to keep cost down, but it restricts the potential that the PS5 advertises.

I have noth the Gen 3 and Gen 4 A50's and an LG CX (which is HDMI 2.1). The PS5 is based off of being able to supply a 120Ghx 4K picture with 2.1 HDMI. That's what was amazing about it. When I spend $300 on headsets, I would expect them to be future proof. THESE ARE THE ONLY HEADPHONES THAT DON'T WORK WITH THE PS5! THe most expensive headphones and they don't even work. I purchased this HDMI adapter as you need this to passthrough the 2.0 signal. THe only problem is the PS5 is 2.1 and this adapter is null and void if you have a T.V that can pass a 2.1 HDMI signal. Stay away from this product and wait for an adapter for a 2.1 passthrough.

I bought this item so I can use my Astro A50s on my ps5 I just looked up a quick video on how to install it and it works perfectly. You do have to go into your settings on console and change a few things.

I've tried some "amazon" versions of this and they were seriously flawed. This one just works. Small, heat is not an issue and most video formats are supported. Will need an HDMI 2.1 version once I get an 120hz TV.

It works fine, but doesn’t do anything other than allow you to use something that used to work without it.

The micro cord it came with was shot out of the box but other than that it let's my A50s work on my ps5

Works how it suppose to, have no issues with it currently but if you want 4k 120 fps this isn’t the product for you. It does run 1920x1080 @120

An excellent article, I don't see the need for it, but due to the change they made to make different connections now with this article, we can't use our custom hearing aids.

If you have any headset that requires an optical input, this is an amazing product. Easy setup and excellent sound quality! It’s a must have for PS5 owners as the console doesn’t have the optical slot.
