Very comfortable headphones, sound is rich but loses quality when on full volume. The mic is curved toward the face but is not easy to adjust away from the mouth. Performance does not justify the price.

Great wireless headset. I have always been a fan of Astros and owned several pairs of a30s over the years. This is my first wireless set and once I figured out the proper settings on my PC it was smooth sailing. That being said, my favorite feature of the a40s is the breathable ear cups. Not having them as an option for this headset was a bit of a bummer. I did end up buying aftermarket cups with cooling memory foam from another company, but if astro had made their own I definitely would have bought from them. As somebody who's ears get very warm the leather noise cancelling cups are just too much for me.

The headset is pretty good but I don’t think it’s worth the price unless I’m doing something wrong. I only use the headset to play cod and I’m still having a hard time hearing footsteps and what direction they are coming from. I also have a problem with the headset not powering off. I just put them back on the charger and hope it kelps it somewhat off. Other then that battery last long and sound is pretty good. Which they have other color options.

Solid Choice for PC and Console Gamers

Solid choice for PC and console gaming. It might be a little on the heavier side for some. But the build quality, adjustability, and overall comfort are worth the additional weight. Charges quickly, and battery life has been as advertised. While Bluetooth connection for supported devices is simple, I have experienced issues with random disconnections when paired with my LG-C2 TV. Performs well with Dolby & DTX software. If you can find it on sale for less than $150, I think you'll be pleased with the value.

I really like this headset. I have only had one problem with it, it will randomly switch modes so you may have to turn it off and back on again. However the ability to have it connected to your game and your phone at the same time is very convenient! The sound is PHENOMENAL! Also the bass and clarity amazing! The volume can go INSANELY LOUD! So if you like to use sounds to your advantage this is the headset for you

Really good sound & weight, but to be real trying to connect them to Xbox, mobile phones, other consoles in general with or with out the wire comes with SO many complications that I don’t even know if my headset is not working or if I’m not using it right. I’ve read and watched every tutorial out. Other then that the sound and look are beautiful! Little upset about my connection issues

Quality of sound is good but the app to control it on the phone logitech can be glitchy with the connection to headset and won’t let you adjust it sometimes. As well as the boom mic is pretty bad even if you try to adjust your audio in party people will say they can barley hear you your overall noise do your friends will be very low. personally would just go with the wired headsets for astros for a better experience

Good headset, some issues connecting to both phone and Xbox, had to reset a couple times. Every now and then I have to take the usb for pc/console out of the console to reset connection. Sound quality is fantastic otherwise! Worth it to me.

I was a die hard Steelseries fan but I had 2 headset go bad on me after a year so i switched it up and bought this one on a whim. Hands down I was very impressed, I didn’t realize the features I’d been mission out on until I bought the A30. I honestly don’t know if I can go back to a brand that’s not Astro.
I play on Xbox and pc. The best part about this is it’s Bluetooth to my phone and has a usb dongle that I just plug into either gaming device and it hooks up right away! I can control different features on my phone app and party chat mixer as well. I can all change the sound using the headset itself.
The Dolby surround is phenomenal too!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Astro A30

I’ve used the Astro A50’s in the past and just swapped out my A40’s to try out the A30’s and have been pleasantly surprised with this headset. I’ve always had a soft spot for Astro’s after my first pair of A50’s and I feel like every headset I’ve tried from them so far have never failed to deliver and the A30’s aren’t any different. You can connect this headset to 3 different devices via the usb dongle included, Bluetooth or an auxiliary cord. I don’t really have it connected to more than two and realistically don’t use multiple sources all at the same time, but having the option is nice to multitask with videos or music while gaming and everything coming through the same audio device. The sound quality on them are pretty decent, definitely not as good as the A40’s or A50’s, but the price difference kind of reflects that compared to those headset. It’s still good and the Logitech app for it is pretty simple and has a fair amount of customization to it. The comfort is pretty standard as far as Astro headsets go. I can play for multiple hours without even feeling it, but results may vary from person to person. The internal microphone and detachable boom mic are both pretty good, but the boom mic has the advantage when I’m party chat or Discord calls while the internal is more for phone calls. The tags on both sides of the headset are removable, as well. I haven’t seen Astro do any custom tags specifically for this model, but I remember hearing that some of the A40 tags will fit on this model. I’ve said almost nothing but positive things, but time to talk about some of the negatives. The sound quality is a little worse than an A40 or A50, but you’re not missing out on a ton. I’m not an audiophile by any means, but I feel like the A30 lacks some of the depth that the other two models nail. The boom mic is detachable, but unlike other Astro headset you can’t flip it up when not in use to push out of the way/mute. The dongle is also pretty good for the most part, but you have to buy separate dongles for the other consoles that you bought your headset for which is kind of a bummer. Also, the dongle sometimes won’t see my headset and I will have to take it out and plug it back in to get my headset to sync up to my Series X. More of an annoyance than a huge gripe. Lastly, I saw the headband on other consumers A30’s have come apart decently easy, but in my short experience with them I haven’t noticed anything worrying. The joystick that controls game/chat balance and headset volume is kind of a pain to push sometimes and wish it was a scroll wheel instead. All in all, it’s a good headset with great sound quality that can be easily used for gaming, music, movies and calls. If you want a multi-use headset and are familiar with other iterations of Astro Gaming headsets, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with these. If you’re looking for something primarily more gaming focused I would recommend checking out the A40’s or A50’s at a Best Buy to compare the sound quality, fit and build of each headset. Astro has made another great headset and I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a next-gen headset with multiple uses. Hope this helps!
