I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and he was unsure about it as he had used a different brand previously. He absolutely loves the quality and feel of the headset while wearing it.

These are rated high for a reason. They are the best gaming headset I have ever used and I have owned them all. I purchased the top of the line Astros but I have always had problems with the mic and having to speak louder than normal for people to hear me. This is my second pair of these and other gamers hearing me has never been a problem even when I have to speak low so not to wake up the whole house. Purchase, you will not be sorry. Tip: Always purchase the 2 year warranty, All gaming headsets are subject to having problems between the 1st and 2nd year if used a lot and Best Buy will replace with new ones if this happens. So no matter how much you baby these you should purchase the warranty.

This headset is very comfortable even after playing for a couple of hours. It sounds good and I love the feature of being able to increase the sound of the game vs talking with friends.

My son had a Turtle Beach headset that lasted less than a year. This was a nice upgrade that we both use. He thinks it's much better sound and I like the aluminum construction. It's a solid piece.

If you love games as much as I do and prefer quality headphones these are the ones I'd suggest they care comfortable and the sound is awesome, definitely a first person shooters best friend

Awesome headset... it is a little heavy but the material used makes it very comfortable. Sound comes out great and the controls are easy to use while adding to the gaming experience.

I love my Astro a40. The sound Quality is excellent. They are way more comfortable than my turtle beaches I had previous. So if you have a big head like me this is the way to go.

Headset is the most comfortable headset I've owned. The m80 mix amp could be a lot better however. The toggle between voice/game volume is definitely weighs on the voice side. But the comfort and sound quality are 5 star worthy.

Performs like the top of the line model it is advertised to be. A really nice fit with any XBox system. Superb sound and no issues since purchased. You won't be disappointed

Bought these as a Christmas present for our 14 yo son and he says its the best headset he's ever used. Comfortable, sounds good and the microphone works well.

I own the Astro A50s, 40s, and the Turtle Beach Elite 800x. It was not worth spending the extra $$ for the other headsets. Only drawback is it is not wireless but other than that the sound quality out of this headset is perfect.

Great quality headset. A little pricey. Controls for voice chat and game volume are easy to use. The aux cord for the headset is my only problem with the headset. Other than that 2 years and still no problems.

I use these and my wife has a pair and I bought a pair for a friend as a present. Great headphones for casual play. If you are looking to hear footsteps behind you your better off with the mixamp pro. These are only stereo since the controller only puts out stereo sound. Wish there was a setup like this with 5.1 through the controller
