I like this for light computing and it was fast. What I did not like was it was not a touchscreen it it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars

speed and value appropriate for price paid but disappointed when $0 offered for upgrade in less than 6 months after purchase.

Excellent in value. Good to excellent in accessibility. There is no caps lock and the search key is where caps lock should be. Otherwise, perfect.

I've got to be honest with you, ASUS makes a good product but ChromeOS is not a good OS. The hardware is mostly good but the battery is now at 85% heatlh after almost 2 years of use. Other than the battery, the device's hardware is great. As for ChromeOS, it is a terrible OS with a terrible UI and it just doesn't cut it, in my opinion. Take my advice and don't waste your money on *any* Chromebook. Save your money and buy a high end tablet or a decent Windows laptop. Chromebooks are a lot of hype and hot air that just don't deliver.

I purchased this item on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee and have not been disappointed. It was on sale as well as offering a larger screen and is very light making it a joy to use.

This chromebook works well for my needs. My only complaints are that there is no CAPS lock key and in its place is a key that takes you away from whatever you are typing. The other is that it is really sensitive to touch and movement. Sometimes it closes what I am working on. These are really just minor inconveniences and sometimes frustrating. But I have to say for the price it is a good little machine.

I was reluctant to purchase a Chromebook at first, but i’m glad I made the purchase. I assumed this computer would be a really slow and cheap version of a standard laptop, but I was proven wrong. I spent a lot of time talking with the Chromebook sales associate, who explained the Chromebook in detail. So far this computer has performed just like any other laptop I’ve owned in the past. My only dislike is, this computer doesn’t have a number pad. I work in healthcare, so I rely on the number pad for inputting patient numerical data. It would be nice not to have to purchase a separate keyboard just to have access to a number pad. Overall, this computer has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend purchasing one.

This is my first Chromebook purchase. Got it on an excellent sale which was pretty helpful. Not spec’d for those needing to do lots of zoom calls or schoolwork. But, I got it for basic web browsing with a screen larger than my phone and a real keyboard. Occasionally for remote access to my desktop Windows PC. Fits those needs but wouldn’t use it for much more than that. Especially not anything GPU or CPU heavy. Lags a bit when streaming like Disney or Netflix.

This mobile workstation feels incredibly premium and provides plenty of processing horsepower to handle demanding tasks. It has a sharp, bright Mini LED display, a spacious, tactile keyboard, and a gigantic, responsive touchpad.

I purchased it from the store and was using it for two weeks. This Chromebook has decent performance, battery life and display. All specs matched as illustrated in the best buy's website. A day after the return policy expired, it stopped charging. I took it back to the store and the store manager was kind to accept my return request. I ordered a better one (Lenovo Flex 3). Thank you Best Buy for your world class customer service.

Lightweight and easy to use. It's a Chromebook like the others, but without the battery life. I suppose you get what you pay for. I figured I'd buy an inexpensive Chromebook, as my partner uses it for email and web browsing. The battery would die overnight, so I returned and purchased a different one. I suppose it would be good for you if you need a basic laptop and can plug in most places, which was no our case.

Whether you need a Chromebook for the first time, or you're looking to upgrade to a newer model, this ASUS is a great deal. Full HD screen (1080p), plus plenty of power for most tasks.

Purchased this for my wife. She was looking for a laptop to watch youtube, surf the net and check emails. Really great size and light enough for her to take with her to local favorite coffee shop.

Everything I needed and wanted, besides No touchscreen, No added mouse, And/Or No protector sleeve or carry case.. but either way, i am very happy with this laptop and proud that I chose it when i was comparing laptops, right before i went into the store.. AND it was the Last One In Stock and the store was about to close in less than 15 minutes. I was surprised the sales staff took their time with me and didn't rush me out or try selling me something more expensive.

This laptop is an excellent value...you get a nice and adequate computer. Not the fastest, of course, but adequate for many purposes. Bear in mind that is is not a Windows operating system, and some Windows-based programs cannot be accessed. Just do a little pre-purchase research to be sure the things you like to run are doable on a Chromebook.

This was a gift for my father in-law , he loves having the world at his fingertips when he is relaxing in his chair . Great computer fast and easy to use especially for those who are not necessarily tech savvy !

Good enough little Chromebook for a tech-resistant older adult. The speed is fair, the size and weight is perfect.
