Got this mainly for the purpose of size upgrade from my two 11-some inch Samsung Chromebooks. It doesn't disappoint so far. It feels lighter and looks more premium than the aforementioned devices and is kinda thin for such a wide device. Performance is what you'd expect from an entry-level Chromebook meaning it's capable enough without overheating, stuttering or slowing down to handle multiple tabs and apps open WHILE running music on YouTube or watching on any of the streaming platforms AND also while running your company's remote work software/website during any of the above activities. Extending screen to my Sony PS 3D Monitor is also smooth-sailing atm using a simple USB-C to HDMI dongle. Keyboard and track pad could be better material-wise as both components don't feel very good to touch at first. This thing straightens flat on its hinge which is cool to see but almost useless to have. Screen image quality is not something to be excited about but the size is what's important to me. However, images look less washed out with more contrast compared to the old Chromebooks mentioned above so I guess that's a plus. Surprisingly, sound quality through the speakers is pretty good..but not quite to the level of my Macbook Pro for obvious reasons. Setup is a breeze thanks to Chrome OS and there isn't any built-in bloatware. It did crash and recovered quickly ay least once during after setup, something I've never seen happen on my two aforementioned devices before. Will keep an eye out on that. Overall, I would recommend this for those looking for capable entry-level Chromebooks.

I do NOT like chromebook, besides that drawback, it is cheap. It works how it is supposed to. I got it to watch videos and movies online. It has worked well since I bought it and is not as disappointing as my iPad was I had 2 years and just died so hoping this unit will not be that bad. We had a Chromebook for my grandsons schoolwork also. So this one has lasted a year snd 5 months and has held up well for me. You can’t use it like a regular computer but is fine for just apps watching movies and videos.

I bought this two years ago. It just stopped working all together out of nowhere. It runs fairly slow, not a total snail but if you like even simple Facebook games on your relaxing time, it gets really frustrating. There is no "delete" button or F# keys. That gets irritating. It's good for say, homework, browsing, or filing forms. It also has always done this weird thing where it will make a "glitch" sound even though it's on mute

Have been using this Chromebook now for a few months and has performed and looks great (Full HD screen)...Only slight drawback is while on internet or loading a web site, does take a minute or so.... Best of all PRICE !!!

It is good for my son online class. The chromebook was fast and it is users friendly gadget.

Love his laptop/chrome book easy to set up easy to use.

Purchased this for school for my son. Fits in bookbag, easy to carry. My child has not had any complaints.

This is my first Chromebook/laptop to buy. So far I have enjoyed using this product. I like the fact that the Chromebook has its own safety measures.

Good little thing even though is 14 runs great....

I am pleasantly surprised by this chromebook. Super light, fast, and sleek. It does everything I need it to do. Almost feels high end for the price I paid. If you are looking for a laptop alternative, this is it! I use it for zoom calls, email and drafting some documents and making worksheets. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I love this computer! It's super easy to use and meets all of my needs! It's light and easy to travel with, the screen is a comfortable size and it's possible to zoom in or out. The computer itself is very sleek and feels nice to use, with barely any resistance from the keys when I'm typing. I've had no issues downloading apps like Zoom and hopping on video calls, and the battery charges in less than 2 hours, and then lasts for over 12 hours on average. It will probably last me for at least 2 years, and it was WELL worth the pretty low price I paid! If you're a user like me, who is mostly looking to be able to type and write, sometimes on the go, with the occasional youtube deep dive, or netflix binge, this is a GREAT option.

For under $200 this is very competitive. I got mine on Best Buy on sale for $129. And that price it is phenomenal! – Very nice full HD 1920 by 1080 display - fast chrome OS websurfer - Long battery life about eight hours - fast recharge time, I think 80% in 30 minutes. - Lightweight - two USB A, two USB-C, microSD and earphone ports. I added 256GB of memory with the micro SD slot! - runs cool, does not get hot on your lap. If you’re not doing complex things with Adobe visual products, or complex spreadsheets with office products. If you don’t need a 4K display, tablet geometry and functionality, don’t need touchscreen, or backlit keys; this absolutely fits the bill perfectly. It’s fast, streamlined, and quite excellent at what it does. It’s a fast websurfer. And a very good video display for Netflix and YouTube. Don’t need to be spoiled with 4K! The display is very nice. There are apps to view PDF documents. And there are chrome extensions to use a lighter version of the whole entire Microsoft office suite, for free! I have a $2,000 high-end laptop, with the 4K QLED display and processors and software to do all sorts of Adobe and Excel cartwheels; but this is now my new favorite couch and travel laptop! I think the 14 inch size is perfect for mobility it’s a great screen size. Because just like your iPhone, you can reverse pinch most windows to zoom in and see everything magnified. Which is fantastic. The 15.6 inch might be perfect or just a bit too big. I think the 17 inch size they have is just too bulky. Fantastic machine! Highly recommended, if you can get it around $150 point or less.

i picked this out for my dad thinking it was simple to use. all he does is look at a few things, check emails and look at a few things on his facebook page that i signed him up for. A local sales page and a scanner page. It went well for awhile until it locked up and he got a defender thing pop up and it said do not shut down your info is at risk call us immediately. i found out this is a scam. done a factory reset on this thinking it would get rid of it and it did, temporarily. Found out by reading other reviews, this is a common problem. I have talked to a few people and some never had the problem and love their chromebook and it is great for what they do. I have talked to a few that hate it and wish they never bought it. I sure wish i had never picked it out for daddy.. it was a big waste of his money and i am sure i done that enough as a kid. Being a senior citizen on a budget, this was so uncool. We have trashed it cause you can't even trade these in!!!! I have ordered him something different. I sure hope works out better. lesson learned.

This is a tablet in laptop form BUT it’s fast and does the job. I’ve run multiple tabs online and it doesn’t slow down. Had no problem streaming tv/movies on it. Battery last for 5-6hrs ongoing. Charges fast. I would suggest buying an external hard drive for saving files. Definitely worth the price even with additional purchase of a hard drive, you’re still saving a lot of money. Only wish it had a lighted keyboard. Have no complaints.

This is a well design laptop/chromebook,easy to use with its functionality and very practical to do any task.A very fast system to start with a good memory intell.I purchased this chromebook at a very good price and i am very happy with it so far,it comes with trend micro internet security software at no cost to me.A brand new chromebook to last for some times with constant uodates.

Perfect size for daily use like web browsing and watching YouTube, and some light games. Battery runs about 7-8 hours, depending on your work mode. Light weighted and portable. Recommended if you have a tight budget
