I’ve been waiting since summer to buy this laptop and now I have it, I just love it, if you buy this laptop you should know that you cant expand the ram and the storage, none of them, i’m okay with that, I have 2 external HDD, this is a budget laptop for all that offers at this price range, It’s the only one at this price with fingerprint scanner(which is really fast), the battery is amazing, last up to 14 hours, the least I’ve had it running is 9 hours, has a premium look and feel that I love. In resume, a long lasting battery, premium specs(usb C, fingerprint scanner, Super thin, brushed aluminum parts, 1080p display), dont buy bulky laptops cheap laptops.

You Get What You Pay For: This is Junk

This laptop is as cheaply made as the price tag suggests and I don't suggest anyone buy one. I bought mine in April 2016, and around July 2016 (just after the one year warranty expired) it started to behave very oddly - it would no longer resume from sleep properly; it would crash upon each attempt, requiring a full reboot. Also, the right-click function on the trackpad started to fail. I tried several things and ended up trying a Windows 10 factory restore to see if it fixed the worst of the glitches. I started the restore, but as soon as it tried the first reboot of the process, it completely hung. I tried power cycling it, but then it wouldn't boot up at all. The lights come on, the display backlight comes on, but nothing shows up. There's no opportunity to get into the BIOS; not so much as a logo even shows up. And even if it was working enough to get into the BIOS, Asus relies 100% on the Windows 10 backup and restore process, so there are no external tools to use. I called Asus and they said I'd have to return it to them for a fix. It makes no sense for me to spend $50 shipping a laptop back only to pay $100+ to get it repaired when it's only worth $399 new and might break again! I suggest you get a Chromebook if your budget is $400 and under. Pay more for a better quality laptop. Don't buy this one.

My daughter wanted this to play her Sims game, unfortunately it didn't work very well. The colors were different and the game lagged a lot. Not happy, so it was returned.
