Very disappointed with Best Buy and Asus we bought this computer for our son who was starting University who has a visual impairment and a laptop is necessity when school started only after a few days the computer was not charging we took a receipt and the computer to Best Buy where we found out the best I could not help us because I received was from 20 days ago and supposedly there return rate is only 15 days they told us to call Asus and send the computer to Asus but it would take three weeks this was not an option due to my son's visual impairment and the necessity of having a computer to do his university courses I tried calling customer service I tried talking to managers excetera and nut anybody would help me I had to turn to an outside person to help me fix my computer it cost me $75 but I got it right away same day to fix a malfunction from Asus they did not solder down the charge port very frustrating and disappointing I will not purchase from Best Buy again due to their horrible warranty anybody else would have given me 30 days with an electronic and not left it up to me to take care of their issue and upset with Asus as well why are they not double-checking their work before they ship it out

We bought it for her to do stuff for her work a s a teacher... she uses it for photoshop... she also played some low demand games on it as well.

Great laptop. Might be a problem for those that need to look at the key board to type though. The color of the letters on the keys is difficult to see sometimes even though the keyboard is back lit.

Came in looking for a new, road-worthy laptop and was recommended this Asus. I travel for work (sometimes into "harsh" environments) and, so far, this little guy has held up well. Its sticker brags about it being "military grade" but, having some experience with same, I wonder what aspect this description applies to... No issues with battery life, ease of use, lack of power, etc. If I had a complaint it would only be that the keyboard can be somewhat difficult to see. No problem for the touch-typist, but maybe a concern for two-finger hunt and packers.

Runs everyday task well. Reasonable weight and battery life. Great value when on sale price

This notebook meets all of my needs. It’s start up time is next to nothing. It’s small and compact, yet powerful. I usually go with Acer, but the in-store rep suggested Asus, and boy, I am glad that I purchased this.

Bought to use when the pandemic lockdown hit towards the end of the 2020 spring semester. Enjoyed the very responsive touchscreen aspect to it that my apple computer lacked. Battery life was also good on this. The speakers were no so loud and could have been better. A few days in it developed an issue and no sound would play, I even wiped it and the issue persisted so I returned it.

I love most of the features of the computer. Light and compact with a great screen and keyboard...but...the battery and touch pad leave much to be desired. First the battery: If you have a "portable" device, which is the point of a laptop, it should be portable. With this extremely low battery life, you are tethered to a plug frequently. Second, the touch pad: I've never had a touch pad act so strangely. It seems that it gets almost tacky some times, and does not work. Of the half dozen laptops I've had personally, and the half dozen or so I have used for work, I have never experienced this. Memory, USB, micro SD, Windows, all work well on this slim laptop. I think it only restarted on me once and that seemed to be a heat issue? Other than this it has worked very will for business and personal use.

I like how the computer works but the screen fills the whole frame with no bumper around the edges for protection, somehow, within 14 days of the purchase the right corner of the screen got cracked, I couldn't exchange it so I'm in the process of getting Visa to cover the cost with their buyers protection insurance when using their card. The cost is about $700 to replace! that was more than the cost of the computer! Asus really needs more protection around the screen glass so this doesn't happen!

Very nice, speedy laptop! Best one I've ever owned so far. Love the backlighting on the keyboard, the sound is great, and so far, no problems whatsoever. Hope it lasts a long time! I would recommend it!

Works well for school work and daily browsing. Right out the box it was freezing up loading basic pages but after a while it got better

A haven't had a laptop in a long time so it took me a while to get used to it. But I got it on sale and it's a great little laptop

Size and weight are good. Not too heavy ,backlit keys are very useful. Holds a good battery time. First time ASUS purchase

Just the correct size and weight for air travel. Good battery life of 5 to 6 hours working on word documents and spreadsheets. Also, includes internet access. Quick response time when using a wireless mouse.

Son uses it for playing Roblox and Minecraft, and watching videos. The computer is sturdy but not cumbersome. I like the hardware and the way it looks. I’m glad I bought it.

This replaced my old Asus A55 and so far it is working fine. Smaller, lighter and faster. The touch screen is nice but I forget that it is there most of the time.

Laptop is nice and light weight with all standard features . One nice feature is that the laptop folds over and can also be used as a tablet instantly. Biggest flaw in my opinion is that the keyboard doesn’t light up. At times the keys can be very hard to see if not angled correctly.

while waiting for it to arrive, I forgot I ordered a touch screen. So when I opened it up and started using it, I was even happier when it was a touch screen. Love it so far.

I love this computer. For the cost of it and the reasons I use it, it's great! I use it for work and its light weight which is a big plus compared to my last laptop.
