    Slow computer with a disc drive that sounds like a blender. Takes forever to recognize a disc much less play it. Bloatware movie player freezes up. Computer must be restarted constantly. Windows 8 nightmare. Best of all, no one at Asus or Geek Squad knows why the button to turn internet on and off does nothing and the visual slider bar for same does not work. I've had older, less powerful computers cause me far less trouble than this terrible piece of junk.

    First, this laptop is ridiculously slow and loud. Second, the screen went white after 3 months. Called customer service, filed a claim, and paid to have to have it shipped. A week later they want to charge me $210 to replace the screen stating there was a minut crack caused by "physical damage" and therefore not covered under warranty. I am an older adult who keeps my laptop on my desk, I assure you any "physical damage" was not caused by me. Incredibly unhappy & dissatified with Asus...not only would I not recommend this laptop, but I would not recommend Asus at all.
