I waited a long time for the day when this laptop would be sold by Best Buy. So, for anyone looking into purchasing a slim-line based laptop, this Asus laptop is perfect! It is almost identical to a Razer Blade minus the touch screen. Making it several hundred dollars cheaper. ( a Plus in my book). There is once again no need for touch screens now that windows 10 has officially released. (Installed Win. 10, no issues so far).
The laptop runs very smooth, decently quiet, and for its size quite cool.
Performance is Top Notch for its particular caliber, and by that I mean it is a slim-line. Don't expect tower performance. (you will disappoint yourself).
Thought I would mention:
It comes with a decent wired headset and mouse.
*The Ethernet port is an adapter through Usb. (Doesn't bother me).
*No Anti-theft lock port. For those looking to use this for College (like myself) keep that in mind.
Other than that. I have had it for a few weeks now, and couldn't be happier!

This laptop is excellent for its long battery life, 4k matte display, spacious keyboard, hyperfast ssd.
Its not great for non-touch screen, weak downfiring speakers, use of plastic in some areas of contruction (e.g. display bezels), and worst of all its a dust and fingerprint magnet like none iv seen before.
In summary, buy it if you are an occasional light gamer who needs it more for productivity and media, and dont mind cleaning it everday.

If you are looking for the top gaming machine to run GTA-V at high settings with no frame rate drop this is not the computer for you. If you are looking for an all around, well balanced, and fast laptop that can do gaming in general this IS the one for you.
Taking this laptop to school everyday is a total breeze considering this is a 15.6" laptop. Well balanced, with a low center of gravity there is only a small burden increase when this is in my backpack along with everything else inside.
The overall speed of this guy is perfect for even the most impatient teenagers with bootup times under 10 second and only 2 clicks on the keyboard to instantly pop it right back up from sleep mode. The M.2 (tiny ssd card straight into the motherboard) along with the 16gb of RAM keeps this computer flying through anything basic to lightweight rendering programs (Unreal Engine, PhotoShop).
The actual GPU is just ok and nothing more. It can handle any game up to medium settings without getting too hot. Bump it up a little outside of medium and it starts to really heat up and your frame rate drop comes in. But that does not affect my review, as gaming on this computer for me is secondary under just needing a strong, fast, and long lasting computer.
Other notes would be, the back lit keyboard has 3 settings which is nice to see. The function keys actually work!! Typing on the keyboard gives a nice click klack sound with perfect resistance and space between each key. There is no power button on the side of the computer and only on the top right of the keypad. It is pretty sensitive too. One press shuts it off to sleep mode and holding it for longer than 1/2 a second turns it completely off. So be careful there. Battery life is just great! Considoring my last laptop was a 5 year old 17.3" asus with only 2hrs of battery life. Keep the brightness down to half way, keyboard light off, and for gaming have the settings on medium to low and it will last around 7-8 hours. Of course gaming straight off the battery kills it a lot faster but within my 7.5hr school day I get in around 30-45 minutes of gaming and the battery still holds its own all the way through.
Two things I am not a fan of with this laptop. The trackpad is nice to move the cursor with but clicking down on it gives a cheap and hollow sound unlike the premium sound the keyboard emits. Lastly, this is an IPS Matte screen, 4k nonetheless, so my experience with actual color vibrancy is slightly lack luster but acceptable among so many other positives.
Overall, again, if you are looking for a notebook that is still premium and high end, while being crazy light weight for its size, with the ability to game in general this is the one for you. In comparison to the macbook pro 15.6" 512gb 2015 edition, this is the PC world equivalent for a thousand bucks cheaper and yet not sacrificing any major strong points.
