This item was so slow and never charges correctly. After about 4 months it wouldn't even charge to 100 percent. This is my first asks product I was disappointed in.

This is the perfect laptop for a student on a budget.

I've had this computer two months. It was inexpensive so I didn't expect much First thing I noticed is the mouse pad is odd. You need the wireless mouse. That in itself isn't a big deal. Within the first week, I couldn't rip CDS on the CD drive. Well last night, the keyboard stopped working. but, Oh its not the entire keyboard, like 6 keys still work. Can't login to the stupid computer to even address. Then I got on ASUS tech support, what a joke. Got disconnected online2X and once by phone. It seems like its cheaply made, the keyboard and CD drive don't seem to be connected right. Very slow processor, takes forever to open the internet. DO NOT BUY THIS.

A waste of money. hyper sensitive touch pad means. Keyboard totally mushy and unreliable. Screen randomly jumps to new windows. Typing is a pain every single day, every time. SLOW........ horribly slow after a few months. Don't waste your money. Spend an extra 200 and get something that will be a pleasure to work on for the next 3 years. This is a daily tool, don't buy cheap and regret it.

This is undoubtedly the most worthless lap top I have ever owned. It cannot hold an internet connection for more than 5 minutes. Each reconnect requires power down and restart. Arbitrarily fails to open Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and sometimes refuses to open either. Zero functionality for watching any streaming video, Incredibly, WordPad software which comes pre-loaded will not open Word files, or for that matter Word Perfect files. I will never buy Asus again. Beware.

I bought this for my wife in need of a simple computer. It's great for the price. Runs smoothly, screen resolution is great, and the keyboard is nice. If you're in need of a basic computer for everyday task, look no further. Overall, if you're looking for something simple for school task, or maybe for a family member that doesn't need much from a computer I don't think you can regret this purchase.

Not only is this the slowest computer I have ever used, I am completely disappointed in Best Buy that only gives you a 15 day window to return it. I was actually moving during the time I purchased it so didn't get it returned in time. It did come with a Windows 10 update but after 2 days of it trying to update I cancelled it. Have to keep it on the charger at all times. Almost no battery life.I get much better results from my Kindle Fire. Will never buy any products from Best Buy again since they won't stand behind the products they sell.

On face, it looks like a great deal for a mid range computer. In actuality, this computer is nearly useless. The processor is so terribly slow that it makes even simple tasks such as browsing the web, writing a word document and viewing youtube frustrating if not impossible. Almost everything you do with this laptop makes it stutter and it's incredibly easy to mis-click on icons or tabs on web pages because this computer takes forever and a day to even load simple pages. Simply put: the processor is not powerful enough to take advantage of the 4 GB of ram, and in point of fact, is so underpowered it cripples the entire computer. Do not buy this.

It works great for simple tasks like school and surfing the web, but the touchpad is little weird and that's not much of a problem, all you need is a mouse.

Camera stopped working less than a month after purchased. Returned it no problem.
